Aloha! We are the new owners of a gorgeous, newly remodeled penthouse, 1 bd 1 ba (sleeps 4) condo with amazing ocean views inside and out. It is decorated with a feel of the island throughout. New sound resistant glass balcony doors, windows and ductless split AC makes this a quiet retreat filled with light and extraordinary views.

Our unit is supplied with all of the supplies to make your vacation as fun and relaxing as possible. Just unpack and let the vacation begin!

The 1st floor of the complex has shops where you can rent bikes, grab a coffee or sandwich, arrange a massage or haircut and plan diving or snorkeling adventures. Maui Dream Dive is a top rated dive shop that can help with any snorkel or dive gear needs. There is also a gym about 7 minutes up the road - convenient drop in rates for travelers. Or just lounge at the on site pool.

Easy to learn to surf here! It doesn't get any more convenient. Rent surfboards and paddleboard gear from the surf store across the street. You are across the street from "The Cove" the best beginner surf spot on the island. Watch your friends and family surf from the lanai while enjoying your morning coffee!

During whale season, the whales will be easy to spot from this top sixth floor "lookout".

The Island Surf building, in particular, is easy living. A SHORT WALK puts you at the Kihei marketplace and many great restaurants. A 24 HOUR GROCERY STORE (Foodland) is an easy stroll. STARBUCKS is another local hangout to enjoy the morning or meet with friends. If you like to watch or participate in roller hockey, tennis games, pickup beach volleyball, basketball, surfing, stand up paddleboarding and be right by the beach we think you have the best location in all of Maui. Kalama Beach Park (across the street) is the place to enjoy these sports or watch the action. We have enjoyed concerts from the lanai. Many local shops are within walking distance for those souvenirs the shoppers love to find. Don't forget the Maui Film Festival in June each year.

A few minutes away is Wailea, with upscale dining, shopping, golfing and miles of beautiful beach.

We are Doug and Pam Allen, the new owners of Island Surf 603. We have been vacationing and renting condos on the Hawaiian Islands with our family and by ourselves for 20 years. We chose to purchase our condo on Maui for all Maui has to offer. We decided upon this unit because of the amazing views, upscale interior and bright light. After all our years of renting, we truly know what a vacation rental needs to make your vacation the BEST! We have used our 20 years of rental experience to manage Island Surf 603 so your vacation may be the BEST. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!

Island Surf is the "perfect place" to enjoy Kihei, Maui. It provides picturesque ocean views. It is also in an easy central location that is within walking distance to just about anything you would need. We have rented several units at Island Surf over the years and are thrilled to now own our own. Our unit offers a quiet retreat to relax and recharge. We are amazed at the beauty of 603!

Kihei is such a fun place. From swimming in the ocean to cycling around the bike paths, there doesn't seem to be enough time to explore it all. The convenient central location of Island Surf and the ocean view are hard to beat. As you will find, each part of Maui has such a different personality. Kihei is one of our favorites.

Overall experience was great. Good location with grocery, library, eating & boutiques within walking distance. Sunsets were beautiful from the lanai. Definitely would recommend staying at this condo!

Amazing Maui March 2018

As expected, this property did not disappoint. Pam and Doug have keep everything in the unit in top shape. This was stay #2 for us and we are already booked for stay #3. I cant imagine staying anywhere else in Maui, why would we?

Simply perfect in every way!

This place is a gem!

Sitting on the 6th floor right across the street from Kalama Park and The Cove, the location cannot be beat if you are active and you want to be in the center of things. Having two teenagers, they were across the street playing sand volleyball or out surfing all of the time. There was a ton for them, and us, to do.

Specifically regarding the unit, it was beautiful and it had everything. It is newly remodeled and it was done well. You walk in everyday and you are taken by the fact this it's a really nice space with an amazing view. The appliances all work perfectly and the bed was VERY comfortable. It important to note, the refrigerator had no problem handling the initial Costco run. We used the AC once it it worked very well. I can image it would be perfect in the summer. The pullout couch worked for our two kids.

Finally, Pam has the condo stocked with all of the beach stuff you both need and want. Four excellent beach chairs (three Tommy Bahama), an umbrella, snorkel gear, beach volleyball, inflatables and noodles, coolers, and four very nice beach towels. On top of all of that, there are nice vacuum insulated cups for your use. As for cooking, there were several spices in the cabinet and condiments in the refrigerator so you are not starting from scratch when you get to Maui.

Overall, this place is truly great and we plan on returning. Pam was very responsive and great to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend you book this place! You will be very happy with your decision.
