Lovely and comfortable apartment with direct access to the beach Corner.

Beautiful apartment, between sea and mountain, nicely decorated and spacious, located on the first floor of a residential building (3 floors) with direct access to the beach from the corner. Enjoy the large terrace to eat, relax and enjoy the occasional porpoise that dance off. You will also enjoy the beautiful sunsets, the future stars of football practicing on the beach and if you are early morning, the famous seine fishing scene. Let try and give them a little help, you will be rewarded. From your room, enjoy the refreshing breeze coming down from the peaks of Carbet. Do not forget your sandals to cross the beach because it heats 9:30 am. Evening stroll between small shy crabs and enjoy a cocktail night in bars and restaurants from the beach.

Lovely stay and superb view / Séjour agréable et vue magnifique

My husband and I had a lovely one-week stay.

The appartment is as described, pretty, spacious, and well-equiped. We adored the large, intimate patio that offers a superb view of the Caribbean sea. The reserved parking space is a plus in that area.

It is a good location to visit the north of the island : the mountains, Saint-Pierre, le Prêcheur... And, when returning from our excursions, it was great to come back to the appartment and simply walk across the garden to jump into the sea!

As mentioned in other comments, the 'Le Coin' beach is animated, especially on weekends and holidays. Evenings and nights are quiet, so one sleeps well. However, the noise of trafic and of the bakery make it difficult to sleep in... but allowed us to appreciate the calmness of the seaside mornings, as well as fresh bread!

Thanks to Françoise and to Mrs Saliber for their kindness; communicating with them was easy. A special thanks to Mrs Saliber for her punctuality when we arrived and when we left.

We recommend this rental and would love to return.

Mon mari et moi avons fait un très agréable séjour d'une semaine.

L'appartement est joli, spacieux, bien équipé et conforme à la description. Nous avons adoré la terrasse, grande, intime, avec une vue superbe sur la mer. L'espace de stationnement réservé est appréciable dans ce secteur.

C'est un très bon endroit pour visiter le nord de l'île : les montagnes, Saint-Pierre, le Prêcheur... Et, au retour des nos excursions, quel bonheur de revenir à l'appartement et de simplement traverser le jardin pour aller se baigner dans la mer.

Tel que mentionné dans les autres commentaires, la plage du Coin est animée, surtout les fins de semaine et les jours fériés. Les soirées et les nuits sont calmes, alors on dort bien. Par contre, les bruits de la circulation et de la boulangerie font en sorte qu'on se lève tôt... ce qui permet d'apprécier les matins tranquilles côté plage et le bon pain frais!

Merci à Françoise et à Mme Saliber pour leur gentillesse et la facilité avec laquelle on peut communiquer avec elles. Merci aussi à Mme Saliber pour sa ponctualité lors de notre arrivée et de notre départ.

Nous recommandons cette location et aimerions y retourner.

Perfect Island Getaway!

Great location right on the beach adjacent to a wonderful pastry shop and restaurants. The place was nicely decorated and had all the features we wanted. The place has off street gated parking. Electric hot water is a bonus too for larger groups.

Françoise was very accommodating to our travel times and speaks very good English. We will be returning to this paradise next year.

Amazing view, lovely town, perfect apartment

The photos do this property NO justice. The apartment is so cute, and so well appointed: internet access, an entertainment system and flat television, a good sized kitchen, a comfortable living area, 2 cute bedrooms (the master has aircon), and a large, well lit bathroom. But we practically lived on that magnificent patio, which had a large, comfortable sofa, a dining set, a mosquito net and a breathtaking view of Plage du Coin. This apartment is a second floor walkup, so it may not be suitable for persons with mobility issues. It was perfect for our romantic getaway, and we would also choose this apartment if we were travelling with our children.

You are only a few yards from a nice, open stretch of beach, and the water is so warm! It is great for playing, relaxing or having a swim. Further down in both directions, Plage du Coin is full of charming bars and restaurants, but it was also an easy walk to the Carrefour Express, or a quick drive to the larger market in Saint Pierre for groceries (secure parking was included with this rental). We took most dinners at the lovely Le Petibonum, just a short walk down the beach. This was partly because we were so pleased with the food, drink and staff, and partly because we visited during the off season: many restaurants were only open for the weekend, but Le Petibonum was open every day. Plan accordingly if you do not wish to eat out, and make sure that you purchase your food and seasonings ahead of time. And for goodness sake, put everything away when you are not using it: ants are everywhere in Martinique, they cannot be avoided and they will find your food if you leave it sitting! François provides a secure box for bread and pastry, there are sealed containers for sugar next to the stove, and there is room in the refrigerator for anything that needs to be put away.

L'Idéal

Cet appartement bien situé est bien ventilé calme très soigné parfait à tous points de vue.

On y est bien accueilli et l'on sent que l'on cherche à faire plaisir.

La boulangerie est à la porte au petit dejeuner.

Enfin on peut trouver du poisson frais et des langoustes en tournant à droite sur la plage quelques minutes de marche c'est là 0696 82 96 95

Belle situation au bord de plage

Voila un appartement idéalement situé au bord de mer, confortable, spacieux et complet dans son équipement. Les couchages sont très bons, la terrasse en balcon est un élément de confort incontestable. La boulangerie est au pied de la résidence. S'il faut trouver des éléments négatifs, on peut évoquer la circulation épisodique sur la voie desservant la plage du coin et les restaurants de plage, et l'équipement ménager qui mériterait une mise au gout du jour...

Le Carbet né de terre et mer, les deux inséparables de leur histoire si près du feu de l’antre de la terre où disparu Saint-Pierre la magnifique, ce petit village reste à déguster.....
