A bright and spacious two bedroom cottage, La Distillerie sleeps 5 guests and is the perfect place to have a relaxing holiday in beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Recently renovated, the cottage is modern with new double glazed windows and doors, family sized open plan kitchen (SMEG oven, good sized fridge/freezer, coffee machine, Dishwasher and Washer/Dryer) Dining Table for six and comfortable seating area with UK Television channels on the TV and WIFI throughout.

Upstairs there is a Kingsize Master Bedroom with plenty of hanging and cupboard space. Family bathroom with bath (which has views of the vines) Freestanding quadrant shower, basin and toilet. The second bedroom has three full size single bed. The cottage is finished to a high standard and the owners have tried to include everything that will make it an enjoyable holiday and a place that you will want to return too!

The cottage is located in the main pedestrianised courtyard and looks up towards the main house. Outside of the cottage there is a picnic bench, parasol and bbq. The heated swimming pool is shared with the other cottages on site at La Cannonerie however the pool has a terrace and plenty of sun loungers for everyone. The large grounds are open to guests to enjoy and there is a beautiful stone loggia with comfortable seating and WIFI.

The village of Reaux is a short walk or bike ride (bikes available to hire locally) from the cottage and has a village shop with post office facilities and a bar for coffees, ice creams and a beer! They also serve lunches daily in the restaurant above the shop and have a daily delivery of croissants and baguettes. There is also a tennis court in the village. The Spa Town of Jonzac is just a 5 minutes drive from La Cannonerie and has a traditional French covered market twice a week. There are lots of places to visit locally - Cognac (20mins) Angouleme, Jarnac, Saintes, La Rochelle and Bordeaux just over an hour away, beaches in under an hour, fishing ports, St Emilion, Blaye, Medoc......too many to name! The owners are happy to help with recommendations based on their local knowledge if you need more inspiration!
