Casita Near Sabino Canyon and Mt. Lemmon

Tanque Verde Valley Casita. Watch the sunset or sit by the pool! Nestled at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Access to miles of bike trails and minutes from Mt. Lemmon Highway. Very close to the back side of Sabino Canyon where there is free parking. This is a lovely state park that offers miles of hiking and has a beautiful stream. 7 Falls is just 1 of many great hikes! The casita is located in Northeast Tucson in an area called the Tanque Verde Valley. Known for it's magnificent Mesquite trees and cooler temps. The Casita features a king bed and has a full sized refrigerator, a cook top, toaster oven, keurig and dishwasher in the kitchen. It has it's own washer and dryer. Sit on your front porch and enjoy beautiful sunsets or have a cup of coffee in the mornings. We also have room to park R.V.'s, trailers etc. so bring your toys! The pool is shared with the main house and dogs are not allowed in the pool area but there is plenty of other space for them. Pool is not heated.

Location, clean and comfortable
We had an excellent stay at this property and will look forward to booking it again on our next visit to Tucson. The owners who live next door to the unit take very good care of the place and give an accurate description in their VRBO listing. We enjoyed both the back and front outdoor spaces which is where we often spent our mornings and evenings. The location of this unit and it’s dog friendly policy are what we liked most. Very quiet neighborhood for dog walks, access to Bear Canyon trailhead and unlimited bicycle riding right from the front door greatly improved the quality of our stay. The owners/hosts do a great job caring for this place and are very pleasant to work with.

wonderful stay
The VRBO description doesn't do it justice. It had everything we needed plus a great location in a cool semi-rural area that was close to restaurants and groceries. Very clean and well equipped. We'll stay again!

The orange casita at Sobina Canyon
A great base camp for hiking . Drive back on Snyder to N Bear Canyon Road and turn left at the end onto a dirt road (as mark with a sign "Trail Head") that ends at a small parking lot. This a free access to the mountain.

Great place to stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rancho Sierra. The neighborhood is great for walking and for bird watching. The accommodations were perfect for the two of us and our dog. The pool helped with afternoon cool downs!

Why they chose this property

Our Casita is well outfitted and very comfortable. It sits on almost an acre of lush land but is just a short drive to town. It is separate from the main house and has a nice porch to sit and watch the sunsets or have a morning cup of coffee.

What makes this property unique

Minutes from Mt. Lemmon and Sabino Canyon. 2 golf courses are close by. Great bike paths! Shopping just 5 minutes away. Enjoy walking around the neighborhood. Very pet friendly people! Pet fee is $10 a day per pet.
