About this property

Plough Cottage - Luxury 2 bed Cottage in the Beautiful Village of Bradfield

Plough Cottage can be found in the Beautiful and Historic Peak Village of Bradfield settled between the breath-taking Peak National Park and the vibrant city of Sheffield.
It’s a perfect location for that relaxing luxury retreat, a family break or for exploring the Peak District Park.
The cottage has been renovated to the highest spec with an open plan kitchen-dining and living area to the 1st floor with amazing views across the valley, while on the ground floor we have a master bedroom with kingsize bed and a family room with a double bed with single bunk over.
Our Jacuzzi bath is a perfect place to relax at the end of a full on day exploring the village and the many other trips that can be done within easy reach of the cottage.
The cottage is super cosy with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators up.
There’s a small enclosed garden to the front with a little seating area..... and a great pub opposite serving food and local ales.

Really enjoyable
We had a wonderful couple of days at the very nicely renovated property. Laura was always prompt and very helpful with her communication. Everything was as we expected.. It's in a lovely location with lots of local walks. Amazing views from the window. The weather wasn't very good but the cottage was lovely and cosy. Underfloor heating appreciated especially in the bathroom! Would definitely recommend a stay in this cottage.

Modern flat in lovely small village
Flat was spacious and modern with many facilities (including Xbox for the kids). Outdoor area is limited, especially if you have a dog so had to do smaller walks more often. Was a good base to explore the peak district although a little further for the main hiking trails. Ate at both pubs and highly recommend the one at the top of the hill in High Bradfield. Also got to enjoy a cricket game and a beer at the bar that is open to the public at the village club.
