Annestown beach is 200metres away, and the Copper Coast coastal drive has been voted the best in Ireland. Take a stroll to Dunhill Castle, the traditional seat of the Power clan. Explore the many beaches and coves along the coast. The Comeraghs mountains are short distance away, as is the Deise Greenway.

Quaint village in a good location to sight see SE Ireland
Accommodations were comfortable, dated, but useable. No amenities in Annestown but Tremore is a short drive. Very quiet here. Shawn was great. He gave us an excellent rundown of the local history as well as some useful tips for seeing Southern Ireland. Overall a comfortable 3 day stay.

Two friends stay be the sea
Great stay, brief as it was just one nite. Sean greeted us there when we arrived. Very nice man comfortable stay and more room than we needed. Handy to have a kitchen for our stay. The beach and the view nearby was beautiful.

Magical
It's hard to articulate just how beautiful Annestown is. Brown's cottage is an adorable and cozy home nestled between two gorgeous (and quite private) beaches. Our stay was tranquil and lovely and just perfect. Sean was the best host we've ever had the privilege of knowing. He sat with us at breakfast and told us fascinating facts about the town's history and also directed us towards the must see's of the town and surrounding areas. It was one of four stops on our honeymoon and it was by far our best experience to date. Thanks Sean!
