Glen Ard Holiday Home is conveniently located on the edge of Dunmore East, within a few minutes stroll of the village (900m) and the two sandy coves, Counsellors and Lawlor’s (850m).
The beautiful 4 bedroom holiday home is situated in a quiet residential area, and is tastefully decorated and well maintained. There is a spacious living room on the ground floor with double doors leading to an open plan kitchen and dining area. French doors open onto the patio.
On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms (1 en suite), and 2 single bedrooms (one has a pull out bed), together with a family bathroom.
There is a great choice of activities on offer locally, ranging from golf at Dunmore East Golf Club, tennis at the public courts in the village and horse riding, not to mention any number of fabulous walks along the surrounding cliff tops which have stunning views of the sea and the lighthouse on Hook Peninsula.
As the village is centered around its quaint harbour, there can be no surprise at the wide variety of water based activities available to visitors including sailing, adventure camps, deep sea diving and fishing. This maritime theme is evident in many of the local restaurants and pubs in Dunmore East, most of which serve locally caught fresh fish.
For a wonderful adventure and great day out try The Waterford Greenway, a spectacular 46km off-road cycling and walking trail along an old railway line between Waterford and Dungarvan. You and your guests will enjoy a beautiful journey across three tall viaducts from the river to the sea. If you are interested in cycling the Waterford Greenway, we would recommend booking your bikes in advance. A pick up and drop off shuttle bus service can be arranged from your holiday home in Dunmore East depending on group numbers. Bikes can be hired via Waterford Greenway Cycle Tour & Bike Hire however booking's must be made in advance and cannot be guaranteed during peak periods.
Glen Ard Holiday Home is a great location for visiting the sights and attractions of Waterford 18 km, and the amusements at Tramore.
