In the heart of a wonderful neighborhood
Andrea's property is accurately described and very well located in La Condesa within walking distance to all that one requires. Her library is intelligently stocked with art books and guide books of the city and she can arrange good drivers and guides if needed

Perfect stay!
We had the most wonderful assistance with pre-planning including being connected to a terrific, reliable driver who even took us on a long journey to the butterfly sanctuary. The apartment was top notch — clean, comfortable and quiet within and without. The location was on a side street very near many neighborhood restaurants and markets. Every imaginable need was provided for. I recommend this stay highly and hope for a future stay myself!

Brilliant
Had a great stay for a week at Sophia’s property. Highly recommend. Great central location, proactive and accommodating property owner, clean and well maintained property, never waited for more than 4 minutes for an Uber and conveniently located to restaurants and cafes. My daughter and I stayed but the apartment has three rooms and two full bathrooms, so plenty of space. Sophia had a top notch water purifier which saved us from hauling water back to the apartment. Also our Spanish is not very good and the area was highly accommodating to rudimentary Spanish speakers.

About the host

I am completely bicultural: an American-born father of Polish parents, and a Mexican mother. Have lived in the U.S. east coast, San Francisco, Paris, and the rest of the time right here in MC. Live a 15-minute walk from the apartment. Worked in journalism covering Mexico's politics, economy, social issues for foreign publications, such as TIME magazine in the 80s when it was still a somewhat in-depth analytical magazine. Also worked for The Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, WGBH radio in Boston, among others. For years now have worked as a simultaneous conference interpreter and translator.

Why they chose this property

Have lived in Condesa for 36 years. It's been amazing to see its transformation, from a purely residential neighborhood to one bustling with shops, restaurants, bars. I love the fact I can forget the car and walk to get anything I need: excellent coffee, French and Spanish cheese, artisanal bread, gourmet goodies, wine, ice cream, the best pastry shop, flowers. Plus, we also have a cobbler, sewing repairs shop , hardware stores, ATMs, pet shops. I love its park, Parque Mexico, a lush green oasis in this city. I would not consider living anywhere else in town.

What makes this property unique

The location, location, location.
On a quiet street, but a step from everything you need.
