Location! Location! Awesome New Marigny location, if you are interested in a New Orleans’ neighborhood near the amenities of what the city is offering, this is an awesome place to stay while visiting. The property is located within:
• one block of a bar
• 0.4 miles of the French Quarters
• 2.1 miles of the Fair Grounds
• 2.1 miles of the upcoming University Medical Center and VA Hospital
• 3 miles of the Super Dome and the Smoothie King Center
• 3.4 miles of City Park
• 6 Blocks to Bourbon St.
Proximity to Bourbon Street is impeccable considering it turns into Pauger Street after crossing Esplanade Avenue. Within a block and a half of the upcoming N. Rampart/St. Claude street car line scheduled to open in summer of 2016. Street car will connect to the Central Business District (CBD), and other street car lines such as Loyola St., St. Charles Ave., and Canal St. Shaded backyard with huge Pecan tree. The unit offers 3 bedrooms, one living area, one bathroom, and a kitchen. The property includes (2) queen size beds and (2) twin size beds, and one sleeper sofa. The property features a gated backyard, wireless internet, and accommodations to come and enjoy the city. I can sleep up to 8 people if but my neighbor can also accommodate up to 8 guest, please let me know if your interested in bringing additional guest.

Additional rates do apply. 3.This property is privately owned; the owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. 4.Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. 5.Only use appliances for their intended uses. 6.Use of Cleaning Products: Guests are required to only use soaps for their designated use. Washing detergent in the powder or liquid form can be used in the washer. If using the dishwasher, you are required to only use dishwasher detergent, not dishwashing soap allowable for washing dishes within the sink. 7.Maintenance: Guests are required to maintain the unit in its cleanliness which was provided during check-in. Any form of intentionally destroying the property which includes the floors, windows appliances, walls, and/furniture will not be tolerated. 8.Pets are NOT allowed 9.Parking: – On street parking is available during your stay. All guests are asked to respect the handicap parking spaces and be sure to park within standard Louisiana parking laws or regulations. 10.Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens, bath towels, and kitchen housewares are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property. 11.Water and Septic: The property is on a combined sewage systems with the community; therefore, placing inappropriate non-waste or non-food related items down the bathroom toilet or kitchen sink will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the sewage system, you could be charged damages of up to $(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).Storms: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: •The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or •A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. •The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered; Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period. 13. No Illegal Drugs 14. No Loud Noise 15. No Parties 16. No Excessive Behavior 17. No Fighting 18. No Damaging the Property

No hot water!
The property was fine. I was a little concerned about the neighborhood when I booked but honestly it was fine. I felt comfortable and safe. The house itself was fine and accommodated us for the most part. Here’s the bad part The pull out coach didn’t really properly pull out so it really wasn’t a bed. We made it work though. The real issue was there was no hot water! I can deal with a lot of stuff but hot water is a must. Our stay was for 4 nights. I reached out multiple times about the situation but the communication was spotty and ultimately it was never fixed. Not ok! Cold showers for a group of 5 people. After the stay I asked for a refund and was given a very small percentage back. I stressed the inconvenience and that I thought I was entitled to a larger discount but the host wouldn’t do any more to remedy the situation. Definitely would never book here again.

Our wonderful vacation.
The quaint house was a excellent choice that afforded us with a short walk to Bourbon St. and very nice neighbor's. We walked all the way down to and all around New Orleans seeing people and places without any problems. Enjoying street performer's, music, sights and parades. It was one of our best trips ever.

We had 8 people staying in the house for 4 nights. It was in a good location, easy to get to the tram to get to French Quarter, and easy walk to Frenchman Street too! This is a 'shotgun house' with neat old history. I would not really describe this as 4 bedrooms though. I would call it a 3 bedroom with living room/fold out couch. The bathroom is nicely updated. We will all remember this vacation fondly!

Why they chose this property

This property is unique because of it's proximity to the main events within the city. The property is a short 10-15 min walk to the French Quarters, and is located in a bike friendly area. In regards to tourism, Bourbon St. turns into my street after crossing Esplanade Ave; in addition, the city is in the progress of completing the N. Rampart/St. Claude Street Car Line by the end of the September 2016, which is one block from this property for commuter access throughout the city.

What makes this property unique

If you have more than 8 guest visiting New Orleans, please inquire because my neighbor may be willing to host the additional guest. In addition, I allow guest to say for a minimum of two days.
