Beautiful, comfortable and spacious accommodation in The Heart of The Cotswolds

Huntsbury Cottage is a superb house with generous and flexible accommodation. It boasts a stunning open plan kitchen living room, which forms the heart of the home, complimented by a good practical utility room, a further reception room and a range of bedrooms. Throughout the property the living space is light and well presented with the majority of rooms overlooking open countryside.

Outside the house is set back from the lane behind wooden gates with ample private parking. The gardens are well landscaped to offer space for enjoyment and summer entertaining.

Huntsbury Cottage is situated in the desirable hamlet of Foscot, which is equidistant between the picturesque towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton on the Water and Burford, which offer a range of shops and other facilities. The Kings Head in Bledington is a twenty minute walk, The Wild Rabbit in Kingham and The Feathered Nest in Westcote are a couple of miles drive or walk if you prefer.

Gorgeous vrbo, beautiful location
Beautiful and spacious house in immaculate condition. The kitchen has everything you could need. The garden is large and perfectly tended. We appreciated the wealth of information the owner sent us far in advance of our trip and planned our days out and our restaurant choices. Appreciated her thoroughness as the restaurants are busy. It is a stunning part of The Cotswolds and a beautiful house. We would love to return someday.

Perfection in the Cotswolds
This home, the surroundings, and Amanda are more than five star. I can’t say enough good things about our stay and the attention Amanda gives to her home and clients. We truly hated to leave.

A wonderful stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our three week stay at this beautiful home. The house and the lovely garden far exceeded our expectations. We lacked for nothing and our host was extremely attentive to all our needs. Situated in a quiet little village, an excellent well known pub is located within walking distance and the village also has a well equipped shop. If you want to stay in a beautiful home in the Cotswolds this is an excellent choice.

Fantastic!
We loved the house and it was very easy to use the Foscot/Bledington location to easily navigate to/from other villages. Only half mile walk to Kings Head Pub … great for dinner and a pint. Amanda was fantastic to work with.

Fantastic, Spacious & Immaculate
This house is a fantastic space to socialise with the people you're with. There is a huge kitchen/diner/sitting room so people can chat but be comfortable and not leave anyone out. There is also a separate snug for a cosy film night. The garden was a beautiful space to sit in the sun, and the location could not have been better for some well earned rest, peace and quiet and some days out in the beautiful Cotswolds. We would definitely return in a heartbeat for our next get together. The owner took extra care to make our stay special and it made all the difference.

About the host

I have lived in The Cotswolds since 1994 and worked mainly in Telecoms. I play golf, enjoy walking, gardening and am a keen rugby fan, holding a season ticket at Bath Rugby Club. I love the coast as well as the countryside and spend a lot of time in North Devon enjoying the magnificent surf and golf at Saunton.

Why they chose this property

Extensive rural views from three aspects and not overlooked.
I have extended it twice into a spacious home with plenty of room for everyone to 'do their own thing'

The location and views were the primary reasons for buying the property. It is so peaceful yet a stones throw from all the glorious Cotswold villages and towns plus very close to the culture of Oxford and the spa city of Cheltenham.

What makes this property unique

Huntsbury is a real home from home where everyone can feel comfortable with stunning Cotswold views. It is quiet yet easily accessible.

Huntsbury accommodates up to six people (sorry, no pets & no-smoking) and is a great place to unwind and relax. Amazing countryside walks from your door step with award winning pubs and restaurants nearby. A fabulous place to enjoy all year round.

I maintain Huntsbury to a high level of décor and are delighted that guests respect and enjoy it as as a home from home. It is not a party venue and the maximum occupancy is for five people. It is unsuitable for under 14's.
