About this property

Stag Lodge, Felmoor Holiday Park (Hot Tub Lodge and Dog Friendly)

Stag Lodge is a beautiful 2 bedroom lodge with hot tub located in a quiet aspect of the popular Felmoor Holiday Park in Northumberland. The lodge boasts all the mod cons and is a home away from home property. With an open plan layout, the kitchen/dining area overlooks the sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine and plenty of cooking utensils.

The bathroom consists of a shower, WC and basin and heated towel rail. The en-suite is located in the master bedroom which consists of a king size bed, dressing table, and walk in wardrobe. All bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TV's. The twin room has plenty of storage and two full size single beds.

The lodge boasts SKY TV (movies and sports), games, fresh linen and a welcome hamper.

The exterior of the lodge has a large wrap around terrace and the deluxe hot tub is located at the rear of the property providing privacy. There is external subtle lighting that lights up the trees when dark, providing a great backdrop when in the hot tub. We have placed a canopy over the hot tub, so it doesn't matter if it rains, you can relax and enjoy in all seasons.

Stag Lodge is dog friendly, we accept up to two dogs at no extra cost. The lodge also is opposite our sister Lodge (Woodys Lodge) making it ideal for those that require two properties side by side. Both properties can accommodate up to 10 guests.

Stag Lodge is an ideal base in which to explore Northumberland, located just off the A1, the Park is within 15 minutes drive to Alnwick, Morpeth, Amble, Seahouses, Rothbury and more. Visit the gorgeous coastline, our favourite beach is Druridge, perfect for giving the dogs a good run out. Explore the castles, gardens and nearby attractions.

We operate seasonal prices and are open throughout the year, we offer the below rental holiday breaks.

Mon - Friday (4 nights) same price as a weekend (Fri - Mon)
Weekly rentals
Minimum stay is two nights, excluding peak season which reverts to 3 nights from the period of June - September.

We can accommodate shorter weekend breaks of a minimum of two nights. The price will be pro rata of the weekend rate. From time to time depending on season we can be flexible. We check our rates against the quote of the booking to ensure accuracy, but please note due to the inflexibility of adding weekend rates, mid week and weekly on this system there may be some slight changes.

Peaceful and comfortable
We were looking for a quiet, pet friendly location and this was perfect. Lodge tucked away in quiet spot in park. Accommodation was very comfortable and well appointed with every kitchen appliance provided. Hot tub was a bonus with lots of seating on the deck and having a fence all around made it easy to contain our dog. Park itself has easy access to surrounding beautiful beaches villages and moorland. We were a bit concerned about road noise given proximity to A1 but it wasnt noticeable at all - trees must have drowned it out. Lovely wee break.

Great lodge in a great location to explore local attractions
Good well-equipped and maintained lodge, in a good location on the quietest part of the park. Short walk to the bar and restaurant. Close to A1, so ideal for a base to explore the many great beaches and attractions that the local area has to offer. Easy check-in and check-out. Hot Tub nice and hot and checked every day without fail to ensure in good working order. Would recommend.

Hello, my name is Melanie,

We are a family run business with a small collection of lodges with hot tubs on Felmoor Park in the heart of Northumberland. After spending so much time exploring the beautiful area we relocated from Newcastle in 2015 and have never looked back.

I'm passionate about providing our guests with a truly wonderful holiday experience and as an avid walker/hiker I'm more than willing to share my own travels and adventures for you to also enjoy.

I hope to welcome you soon to Stag Lodge (our newest property to our collection).

Best wishes,

Melanie

Why they chose this property

Stag Lodge is a firm favourite with couples and families, nestled within the woods in a small cul-de-sac it has an abundance of charm about it. Purchased in 2018 to add to our collection we have recently enhanced the property to provide an even better experience for our guests.

The hot tub is the icing on the cake, after dark, crack open the complimentary bottle of bubbly and admire the dark skies of Northumberland.

Without trying to oversell Stag Lodge, please read our 5* reviews from our past guests many of which return year on year.
