It’s mandatory to recycle and compost in Vancouver. If guests don't recycle and compost we will have to revoke damage deposit. Recycling & compost is picked up every week. Garbage is only picked up every 2 weeks. If guests don't recycle & compost the garbage is overflowing and attracts unwanted wild animals. Plus the city can fine up to $2000 for non compliance.

In the kitchen you’ll find two recycling bins
Paper: Newspapers, magazines, toilet paper rolls, notepaper, egg cartons and mixed paper you can put in these containers. When full please transfer to the bins on the back deck & then to the lane for garbage day. The above listed items get transferred to the yellow bag outside back door.

Tryst on the westside
We (5 of us) enjoyed our stay at this house! The convenience to workplace via walking/transit is hard to beat...we already miss it. We are Vancouverites experiencing the city from a new perspective. The layout of the house with a bedroom on the main and 2 upstairs suited our needs perfectly, giving us individual space when we wanted. As well. we could together for family meals in the cozy kitchen and dining room. The final season of Gam of Thrones was viewed from the furniture seen the the photo. When we chose not to cook, there are several restaurant options right on Cambie street that we frequented...Vietnamese, Shanghai dim sum, bubble tea, ice cream and more! All within easy walking distance...no need to pay for parking! Suzanne was attentive and responsive to any questions or concerns...thank you! Overall, we wish we had requested for a longer stay, but we were very happy to have had the time we did.

Great Vancouver House
My family (wife, son - 9, daughter - 4) stayed at this house for 5 weeks and could not have been any happier. We have used VRBO for multiple long term vacations in the past and this house was one of our favorite. The location cannot be beat as you are walking distance to the train which will get you around Vancouver and only a short walk to Main Street which has all the restaurants you could ask for. As well, it's a short 30 minute drive to get to North Vancouver and the hiking trails. The house is perfect and in a great neighborhood - Suzanne is great to deal with (we had some minor issues that were resolved within a days time). I highly recommend this location to all Vancouver visitors.

Fabulous stay in Cambie!
We (3 couples) stayed at this 3 bedroom Cambie home for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The home has been completely redone and is very attractive & comfortable. We enjoyed the Cambie neighborhood. Close by, we were able to walk and find groceries, a bank to exchange our US dollars, restaurants, etc. Vancouver is a very walkable city. We were only 4 blocks from the SkyTrain which can connect you to all of Vancouver. All in all, we had a great time. If we should find ourselves back in Vancouver we would definitely stay at this Cambie home again!

Fantastic Vancouver Home!
We had a group of 8 people staying over in Vancouver for a few days. This place was perfect for us! We had no car, so we really appreciated having so many good restaurants and stores within walking distance. It is also a quick easy walk to either the nearest bus stop or the nearest Skytrain station, so we had no problem getting around to see all that we wanted to see. The house itself was super clean and in excellent condition. The owners have everything you need right at your fingertips from umbrellas to guidebooks. The beds (including the sofa bed) were very comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets for everyone. The owners are also very friendly and super responsive to calls, texts, and emails. I would most definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to this beautiful city!

We have lived in the Cambie/Main Str area for 16 years and chose this area because it is in a trendy neighbourhood close to schools, the famous Queen Elizabeth Park, the new Hillcrest community centre built for the 2010 Olympic curling,, many restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores within walking distance, yet only a 5 minute drive to the downtown core, or going south you would get to the airport in 10-15 minutes.
We have a young family and enjoy all the amenities that our community and Vancouver has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Our home is very centrally located 1 block to Cambie Street & 4 blocks to the King Edward Skytrain station, which gets you downtown going north in 3 stops or 5 minutes. Going south the Canada Line Skytrain will take you straight to the airport in 10-15 minutes.

What makes this property unique

Our home is in the heart of the Cambie Village area which is known for their abundance of retailers ranging from restaurants, theatre, coffee shops, grocery stores, clothing, and other retailers. Close to major transportation routes and the Canada Line’s King Edward Station is within 5 minutes away by foot, allowing quick access to Downtown, Oakridge Mall and to the Vancouver International Airport.
