Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are few hotels on the island, so mainly private residents are rented out in the summer months. Most of these houses are made from local stone, giving Kea its unique architecture. Kea is not a tourist island and has therefore kept its original charm. There are three to four ferry boats going to and from the island every day.
Villa Petra is located on a hillside, offering spectacular views of the surrounding area and the Aegean sea. Though the villa is in a quiet location, only 1.5 kilometers away is the picturesque Marina of Vourkari, with its restaurants, bars and cafes. The closest sandy beaches to the villa are Gialiskari and Otzia only a 5 minute drive. This villa is ideal for those that want to have a quiet and relaxing time by the pool during the day, but have easy access to the restaurants and night life.
Villa Petra is on the ground floor of a large villa. The two upper floors of the villa are Villa Thea, which is also rented out. The only thing the two properties share is the swimming pool, with its large terrace. Villa Petra however, has a private terrace to the side of the villa with a pergola with a seating and dining area.
