Castlerigg in Keswick is a superb, modern maisonette apartment, in the centre of Keswick, surrounded by shops, boutiques, pubs and attractions. The apartment sleeps 4 adults, with one double bedroom, and one master double bedroom with a single day bed. The open plan, bright lounge/diner/kitchen has a television and a dining table, and the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, a washer/dryer, a fridge and freezer, and a microwave. The maisonette is within easy reach of Keswick’s attractions, including the Pencil Museum, Fitz Park, the Puzzling Place, Skiddaw mountain and Derwentwater. Castlerigg is the perfect base for a family to explore Keswick and the surrounding areas of the central Lake District, even without their own transport.

Hope Park is a relaxing and beautiful place to visit at any time of year it is only a five minute walk from the apartment, here you could enjoy a round of golf or keep the children entertained with a game of crazy golf. Also nearby you will find the River Greta and Fitz Park with tennis courts, pitch and put golf or just simply stroll along side the river. For the more energetic visit Whinlatter Forest Park which has a fantastic mountain biking trail and also hosts the tree top adventure Go Ape.

We had a great five days staying in this property. Very convenient in the centre of town, and a five minute walk to the lake. The property was spacious and clean.
