About this property

Holidays between Lake Geneva and the mountains

Located in a quiet mountain village on the Gavot plateau and at the entrance to the Abondance valley, the apartment is on the ground floor of our house.
This old farmhouse from 1832 faces south. From the apartment, in any season, you will have a superb view of the valley and the mountain.
The house is located in the heart of the Chablais Geopark. It presents and explains the geological attractions of the region. http: // www. geopark chablais. com /
You will have a living room with fully equipped kitchen. A spacious bedroom with a double bed, the second bedroom with two pull-out beds and the sofa bed in the main room can accommodate 5 people. The bathroom with wc has a walk-in shower. You will have a comfortable stay thanks to the 60m² of the apartment, its terrace and access to the garden.
In the village you will find all the amenities: supermarket, doctors, dentist, garage owners, postal agency.
By car you will be 5 minutes from the stations of Bernex and Thollon, 15 minutes from Abondance, 30 minutes from Chatel and for the view and relaxation 20 minutes from Lake Geneva. Geneva and its airport are 1 hour away.
In summer you can practice mountain hiking (the GR5 passes in front of the house), mountain biking, canionning, and for the more daring, paragliding, sailing, horse riding, many other activities and also lazing around.
Our apartment benefits from the Clévacances label with the comfort level 3 keys.
If you do not wish to do the cleaning at the end of the stay, we can take care of it for 60 €.

Nos vacances entre lac et montagne
Nos vacances se sont bien déroulées, le gîte est confortable, propre, et bien équipé cuisine complète avec lave vaisselle et lave linge dans la salle de bain. Parfait pour un court ou long séjour. Grande surface, boulangerie, fromager à 5 minutes en voiture. Hôtes accueillants et serviables.

Idéal pour des vacances estivales entre lac Leman et montagne
Vue magnifique de la terrasse , propriétaires charmants , appartement très agréable à vivre . Idéal pour nous et nos 2 adolescents qui voulions passer des vacances au calme tout en profitant des joies de la région ( rando , hydrospeed, tyrolienne, plages etc …) entre Abondance et Evian !!

Idéal avec de jeunes enfants
Nous avons séjourné dans ce gite une semaine. La spacieuse pièce de vie et les deux chambres bien isolées sont de réels atouts quand on voyage avec deux petites canailles de 3 ans et 6ans. A proximité de commerces, du lac Léman et de la vallée d'Abondance, la situation est idéale pour des vacances alliant les plaisirs de la montagne et ceux de la plaine (vélo sur les bords du Lac Léman). L'accueil des propriétaires est très chaleureux et tout est fait pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. A recommander sans hésitation !

Urlaub Genfersee - Lac Léman
Wir - Ehepaar mit 16-jähriger Tochter - waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Die Angaben im Katalog treffen zu. Die gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung ist sauber und gemütlich, der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge grandios. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und nicht aufdringlich. Verständigung in Englisch klappt, wir haben uns jedoch vorrangig auf unsere - leider nur mittelmäßigen - Französisch-Kenntnisse gestützt. Sehr gute Küchenausstattung. Gerade wenn man sich auch im Urlaub selbst etwas zubereiten möchte, ist so eine tolle Küche natürlich wichtig. Ein großer Supermarkt - Super U - ist nicht weit weg. Ausflüge haben wir zu den Kurorten Évian-les-Bains, Thonon-les-Bains, in das mittelalterliche Städtchen Yvoire - eine Touristenattraktion, nach Montreux - mit Bergbahn- Ausflug zum Gebirge Rochers de Naye mit den niedlichen Murmeltieren sowie nach Lausanne mit mehrstündigem Besuch des Olympischen Museums (franz. Musée olympique). Das Museum ist großartig - nicht nur für Sportfans ein Erlebnis. Den Mont Blanc haben wir in der einen Woche Aufenthalt nicht geschafft. Vielleicht das nächste Mal. Das Feriendomizil können wir empfehlen.
