Simply Scicli. Delightful, relaxing, authentic.

Charming little house in one of the oldest parts of Scicli. Clean, quiet and authentic. This road is still home to locals and isn't touristy. It's an ideal base to soak up the real Sicily in all its cultural and colourful beauty. Here you can slow down and enjoy this wonderful little baroque town which lies at the foot of the ancient stone stairway leading to the house. We use it for ourselves so it's been renovated and furnished with love and care.

Siamo stati molto bene qui
La casa, pur essendo piccolina, è molto confortevole e attrezzata con tutto quello che serve. È una casetta in una via caratteristica a cui si accede solo a piedi perché ci sono dei gradini, e quindi è anche molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Scicli è un posto bellissimo, alla sera in centro ci sono molti ristoranti e la casa si trova a pochi passi dalla zona in cui si può fare il tour del barocco in trenino con audio guida in italiano ed inglese. Da non perdere la colazione nella pasticceria a 100 m in cui vendono cannoli e teste di turco ( dolce tipico) ottimi. La spiaggia di DonnaLucata ( una delle più belle della zona) è a 10 minuti in auto, ma ho visto che c’ è anche un bus che parte dalla piazza più volte al giorno per andarci.. In conclusione, è stata una bellissima vacanza qui a Simply Scicli!

Per chi ha poche pretese
Cercavamo una sistemazione economica e tipicamente siciliana e "Simply Scicli" è entrambe le cose! Solo, non è adatta per soggiorni di due settimane con relativi bagagli al seguito (siamo una famiglia di tre persone). L'appartamento è invece perfetto per una coppia di poche pretese e per soggiorni brevi (con bagaglio ridotto perché non ci sono piani di appoggio). Il parcheggio non è sotto casa: siamo in centro storico e a volte si trova a pochi minuti e a volte no. p.s. Scicli è bellissima e offre molto.

Why they chose this property

This house is supposed to be a retreat for us when we get older. Meanwhile, we do not want it kept empty and would like to share both the house and the fun of being in this typical ancient quarter along with the local people.As a family we have seen that prices are very high, we hope to offer modest accommodation for a modest price. The property is ideal for 2/3 guests but if you have small children and are adaptable, please get in touch and we can see what we can do!

What makes this property unique

You don't feel like a tourist in this house, you are among the local people and real life in Sicily. You can get away from the fast pace for a while and feel that your stay is an authentic experience rather than just another touristic trip.
