Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Newlyn is the third largest fishing port in England, and an important Port of Refuge for all sea baring craft. Visitors can still watch the landing and auctioning of fish at the market, as families have for centuries before. This village is clustered around the harbour, with its 800 year old quay curling around boats on the western side. Famous for the Newlyn school of Art and Newlyn Copper, the Cornwall Coastal Path passes through the village, as does the Mousehole to Marazion cycle path. Wildlife and flora can be enjoyed, with sharks, dolphins and grey seals often seen. The Cornish coast is renowned for surfing, and Penwith offers beaches on which to enjoy this sport as well as surf fishing for sea bass. Mounts Bay also offers a wealth of opportunity for watersports enthusiasts as well as giving visitors an opportunity to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings.

House was nice, some appliances were not working, house keeper was very friendly and helpful, when we called her about problems. Parking wasn’t the best at the start, but when we found car park at the back of property it was ok. We would stop there again.

Spacious property ideal for catering for a large family event.
Extremely well equipped cottage. The only slight downside was a very narrow parking space and very close to a busy road so quite noisy.
