A lovely 2 bedroom, air conditioned apartment in Son Bou Gardens, Menorca. Situated in a prime location, with a south facing balcony, overlooking a family swimming pool managed by La Gondola restaurant/bar. The apartment is a 1 minute walk from the Son Bou Gardens reception and an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of Son Bou. The friendly English speaking reception team can help with any queries during your holiday, including car hire, booking taxis and bus timetables. There is also a bar/restaurant with WIFI, pool table and swimming pool. Also the local bus stop to Mahon and car parking.

Our apartment has a lovely, light and airy dual aspect lounge with stunning views across the gardens and beyond. We have a spacious balcony with an awning, large table and relaxing chairs. In the lounge there is a sofa, wall mounted Flat Screen TV, with a good selection of channels including Spanish, French, Italian and English including BBC, ITV, SKY News and channels for children. There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has modern wardrobes and storage, and a door to a quiet rear balcony. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds, with modern wardrobes and storage. The kitchen is new for Summer 2023 and fully equipped with a new microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and filter coffee jug. The bathroom has both a bath and a powerful shower. We have recently installed a washing machine - June 2022

The apartment is within Son Bou Gardens and has plenty of grassy areas to enjoy and play in. Within a 5 minute walk there is San Jaime with a children's play area, and a great supermarket, gift shop, ATM, bakery/coffee shop, Scuba diving facility and English speaking Medical Centre. Also a few minutes further is Restaurant Son Bou with a swimming pool and meals served at lunchtime and evenings.

The main resort of Son Bou is a 10 minute walk away, with a selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Here there is also the beautiful 3km Son Bou beach with 2 beach restaurants and a variety of watersports.

Son Bou is a short 20 minute journey from Mahon Airport.

Un lugar para volver
Está en una zona tranquila y cercana a Camí de Cavalls. Ideal para relajarse o como punto de partida para visitar la Isla. Eso sí, imprescindible disponer de vehículo porque el transporte público en la zona es escasísimo y muy mal coordinado. Lo mismo pasa con los taxis, caros y difíciles de encontrar. En cuanto a la inmobiliaria, súper amables y dispuestos a ayudar en todo, lo mismo que el propietario.

Fantastic holiday
We've just had 1 week in this property and have had a great time. The property had everything you could want for self catering with 3 children. The location was great, right outside the pool with a great bar and place to eat. Sunbeds were 3 euros to rent for the day which is the same price in the next zone (5 mins walk away ) where there are fun slides and another pool and eating place. 6 euros for 10 goes and the kids loved them!. Beach was about 15 min walk which was fine and inside the property there were umbrellas that we could use to take to the beach. We've had a wonderful stay and would love to come back sometime, the only thing different we'd do next time is hire a car. Cost of taxi for 5 people is 60 euros one way! Thanks for a very comfortable stay 😊

A fabulous break
We stayed for a week and had a wonderful holiday. The apartment is ideally placed and there are many amenities close by. We tended to use the neighbouring pool as it was slightly bigger and deeper. The apartment is well equipped if you want to cook although we chose to eat out. We bought fresh bread and fruit for breakfast at the local supermarket which is priced as you would expect for a resort shop. The apartment was clean and homely, we found the beds to be comfy but a little shorter than a UK bed, we are all tall so this wouldn’t affect everyone. The handbook the owners provided was helpful and we followed their car hire recommendation and toured the island for three days. All in all a lovely holiday 😎

Perfection!
From the first communication with the villa owner we knew we had found a hidden gem!! The owner answered all our questions promptly and efficiently. The villa was spotless in an ideal location with everything we could possible year!! So good that we booked again for the following year while still there
