About this property

Boka Blou Caribbean Beach Villa.

Boka Blou Villa is a villa with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and a separate toilet. We have completely updated our house in December 2017, the new kitchen is fully equipped. The villa is situated on a quiet, somewhat higher spot, nice on the wind so you have less problems with mosquitoes. o.v. Villas that are somewhat lower. From the large porch of about 60 m2 you can overlook the lake on the golf course.
From the villa you walk through the beautiful tropical garden, along the pool, in about 6 minutes to the beautiful white sandy beach. Once there, you will see the turquoise, clear water of blue bay between the palm trees.
After you have settled, all facilities are within reach. The beach has clean toilets, showers, a bar, restaurants, massage parlor, diving school and in the high season there is a kids club.
During your stay the villa is regularly cleaned and provided with clean linen and beach towels.
Our local Property Manager is at your disposal 24/7.

Sehr schƶne Unterkunft, kurzer Weg zum Meer
Objekt in einer bewachten Anlage gelegen. Das Haus ist insgesamt schƶn, aufgrund des Wetters hƤlt man sich Ć¼berwiegend drauƟen auf dem groƟen Balkon auf. Schƶne Aussicht zum Golfplatz. Ca. 5 min. Fussweg zum Strand. Dieser ist auch sehr schƶn. Normal kostet dieser Eintritt, fĆ¼r Mieter ist er aber kostenfrei. Einrichtung zweckmƤssig. Leider viele Moskitos. Ansonsten alles sehr gut. Betreuung vor Ort sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Family vacation over Christmas break
My family of 4 rented Boka Blou (villa 50) over Christmas break. We were greeted by Wil who was very helpful and informative. We were overall Pleased by our stay. We did have a few minor issues ....our big problem upon arrival was it was later at night (around 7) and it was very hot in the villa as the AC is only in the bedrooms and was not on (there is no central AC in the living area), I think if someone came and turned it on before arrival it would make for a more positive experience as we were arriving from the eastern US where it was quite cold. Also, We were unable to use the patio at night as this time of year the mosquitos are awful. Therefore upon arrival, we could not even air the villa out since dusk is the worst time of day for mosquitoes. As mentioned Wil was very helpful and made coming and going from the villa quite easy. Gerard was in constant contact and was also very helpful. The villa had everything we needed, but I would definitely recommend larger beach towels as the beach towels were more like bath towels. The villa had Apple TV so we were able to watch Netflix and although we had a problem with the internet one day we were able to login to another villas internet so it was not much of a Problem. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at Boka Blou and the villa met expectations and Wil and Gerard were very helpful. As for information for Curacao in general( other than the villa) I will say as an American on the whole while Curacao is a great place to visit, be prepared as the service is a much slower pace than Americans are used to. (Dinners can take from 2-4hrs). Lunch/breakfast at the beach club was very quick however!

In de afgelopen 2 weken hebben we genoten van de prachtige villa Boka Blou op Blue Bay Resort, CuraƧao. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals een grote koelkast met ruim vriesvak, een keramische kookplaat, waterkoker, broodrooster etc. De ligging is ideaal, wat hoger zodat de wind heerlijk over het deck waait en de muggen enigszins beperkt! Je hebt uitzicht op de golfbaan waar zich ook watervogels ophouden, zoals flamingo's. Het is riant zitten buiten, zowel in de zithoek als aan de ruime tafel. Goede airconditioning in de slaapkamers plus een fan die het heel aangenaam slapen maakt. Uitstekende badkamers! Het resort wordt goed bewaakt en onderhouden. De beplanting is tropisch en je vindt er dan ook veel soorten vogels en vlinders. Vanaf de villa loop je in enkele minuten naar het gezellige en relaxte strand. Als bewoner van Boka Blou heb je gratis toegang tot het strand en de strandbedjes. Veel schaduw door palapa's en palmbomen. Geen rijen bedjes maar ruimte om je heen, heerlijk! De horeca is goed verzorgd, je kunt er uitgebreid lunchen of dineren maar ook een snackje nuttigen. Bediening aan je strandbedje! Het zwemmen in de CaraĆÆbische zee, daar kwamen we voor en is daar heerlijk vanaf het zandstrand. De massage op het strand is aan te bevelen! Binnen10 minuten rijden sta je in de supermarkt of bij het tankstation. Punda is een minuutje of 20. Maar ook de stranden richting Westpunt zijn vanaf Blue Bay goed en filevrij bereikbaar. De contacten met Gerard en Marieke, de eigenaren, verliepen soepel via mail. Vragen werden snel beantwoord. Wij waren met 5 volwassenen, waaronder mijn moeder van 80 en mijn dochter en schoonzoon van begin 20. Iedereen heeft een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Villa Boka Blou!
