About this property

3bd WiFi Air conditioning Parking free 5 minutes walk from Frontenac metro

4 ½ apartment is impeccably clean, comfortable and fully equipped (hair dryer, bedding, towels, dishes, etc.). It is located in a duplex from fin-de-siècle with a lot of modern upgrades. It is a mix of old and new with a lot of charrm and character. Tourists will find all the appliances and cookware one could need. 3 closed bedrooms (2 queen-sized bed, 1 double bed). One bathroom. TV with NETFLI in the living room and in the third room which is on the ground floor. Washer and dryer with iron. Private entrance. Smokers have access to 2 balconies to enjoy (access from the kitchen, the other from the master bedroom). The free parking in the street is easy and not crowded. Tourists are often able to park right in front of the building. The apartment is on the 2nd story of a 2 story building, so there is a small staircase to climb. Regarding the third bedroom on the ground floor, people allergic to animals will not be able to stay because my two (2) dear cats live exclusively on the ground floor. No pets allowed. No hidden fees : cleaning and taxes included in the rental price. Deposit : $ 300 CAD. All the tourists who have stayed at Le Bercy so far have given me 5 stars.

Clean, well appointed and good location
Travelling with two teens and this property had enough room for all of us. It was quiet at night and the air conditioning and fans kept us cool. The kitchen had everything we needed and we appreciated how clean the property was.

Charming place
This unit was completely stocked up with everything you need. Tim’s is just one block away. The metro is about a 5 minute walk. All the nights we were able to park on the street in front of the unit. Neighbours were quiet. It was 4 of us in the unit. My wife and I slept in the master bedroom, my son (19) in the middle bedroom and my daughter (15) in the sofa bed in the living room. We were all very comfortable. Only downfall is that it has only 1 bathroom. If you’re unsure about this place, just book it before someone else does.

Strategic independent travel offering for exploring Montreal
This is a smart and strategic VRBO offering for independent travellers wishing to explore Montreal out of a central location. The community of Sainte-Marie is a working class neighbourhood undergoing gentrification similar to what happened to Mile End, Little Italy and Plateau Montreal years ago. Within minutes you are whisked away on the Metro from the Frontenac station to explore Montreal. We loved the authenticity of the Sainte-Marie community. Every evening we would sit on our first floor balcony and watch life go by on quiet Rue Bercy and the nearby piste cyclable bicycle pathway. It was so nice to be away from mainstream touristy Montreal. Here you can feel you are a traveller not a touriste. Often in our 6 days here we felt we were in France...reminding us of our 22 independent vacations to Europe for road cycling. The apartment is very well thought out and Marie-Anne thoughtfully has books and travel materials relating to Montreal. She thinks like a traveller and is superb at anticipating their needs. Communication with her was superbe......responsive, thorough. and genuine. As well, Marie-Anne thoughtfully provided start up provisions for our breakfasts...very classy. This is especially appreciated as the nearby IGA Supermarche is currently closed for renovations. Our oasis every evening for dinner was the tremendous Polish deli and bakery at Rue Ontario et Frontenac.......excellent service and food from the hardworking staff. This deli is reflective of the Polish heritage of the Sainte Marie community. In 50 years of independent travel Marie Anne's strong offering on Rue Bercy is very worthy of your consideration. Her standards and thoughtful ways are evident everywhere in this strategic apaertment offering.

Great Spring Break Stay
Great little apartment, easy to get to and communication with the owner was always quick and friendly. Kids loved the Murphy bed, we all had comfortable sleep. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, spices. Easy to navigate to other parts of the city. We would stay here again.

I have been working at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) since 1992. I am a responsible person who fulfills its commitments. I live on the ground floor of the duplex I own. I am available at all times when needed: just text me and you get an almost immediate response. I have furnished Le Bercy with heart so that you feel at home. Nothing has been left to chance, but the photographs do not give the character of the apartment and its beautiful brightness (windows in all rooms and skylights in the bathroom).

Why they chose this property

I bought the duplex in 1993 because it is located 30 minutes walk from my job. In addition, the duplex is located in a quiet residential area in front of which there is a condo complex. The apartment is 5 minutes walk from Frontenac metro, a food market, a bank, a pharmacy, several restaurants, BIXI bike stations, a training center, a free swimming pool without identity card, a tennis court at 9 $ CAN / h, etc. In addition, the duplex is 15 minutes from downtown metro and tourist attractions (Gay Village, Latin Quarter, Old Montreal, La Ronde, entertainment district, Botanical Garden, Biodome, Planetarium, Olympic Stadium, UQÀM, the Grande Library of Quebec, etc.).

What makes this property unique

If you arrive at Montreal-Trudeau Airport, a bus shuttle will take you to Béri-UQÀM metro station. From here you take a taxi and you arrive in 10 minutes (max $ 20 CAD) at Bercy. You can also take a taxi directly from the airport to 2202, rue Bercy (max $ 55 CAD).
