- Wadebridge, Camelford and Bodmin are a 20 minute drive and have local shops and a sports centre with swimming pool
- The coastline and beaches at Trebarwith, Tintagel, Port Isaac and Polzeath are each about 10 miles
- The Camel Trail can be joined at Wenford Bridge only two miles away
