The cosiest home away from home!
We absolutely loved our stay in the Boat Lodge! What a perfect location to use as our base to explore different areas in the Highlands! We were very happy with how wonderful David and Hanako were with communications and making sure our stay there was the best it could possibly be. The cottage had all of the amenities we could have needed and it was very clean and organized. We loved having our breakfast and tea/coffee looking out to the spectacular view outside the windows. Walking the beach during sunrise was also something that will become core memories for us. Rosemarkie is an adorable little village with the friendliest and kindest people, and if you get a chance on your stay to visit Crofters Cafe, please do so! We went once and then just kept going back again! The food and drinks were so tasty and I know we will miss the restaurant (and the lodge!) when we arrive back home in Canada. As my husband said, the cottage can be summed up in three words, cosy, cosy, cosy! Thank you again David and Hanako! You made our visit to Scotland very memorable!

On the beach
The property is in a great location and has a great view, the people were very friendly and Crofters down the road is well worth a visit. The property had everything that you needed and was very comfortable. We saw dolphins from the driveway.

Unterkunft war dreckig, feucht und muffig. Haben unser Gepäck gar nicht ausgepackt und haben kaum 12 Stunden dort verbracht bis wir etwa anderes gefunden hatten. Rausgeworfenes Geld.

The property is in a lovely location with a view of the sea. You can hear the sea which is great. The property itself is quite tired and could do with some TLC. Overall a good stay.

Een geweldige plek.
We voelden ons helemaal thuis in de boathouse. Geweldig was het spotten van de dolfijnen elke avond. Dat was een feest. De boathouse lag pal aan het strand. Voorzieningen prima voor elkaar. Goede plek om het noorden te verkennen.
