About this property

Economical Sportfishing Lodge & Guide Service on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula

Since 1978 we have been providing guided sport fishing and lodging on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. We fish for some of the largest salmon and halibut in this world! Our condo-style lodging allows you to prepare meals or to dine at our local restaurants. Your 2-bedroom condo has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathroom. Our guided fishing trips for salmon, trout and halibut provide you with your guide, fishing equipment and fish cleaning.

We are 3 hours by road from Anchorage, and most visitors drive a rental car to our
lodge. Since we are on the road system, you will have much lower costs then in Alaska's
roadless areas. Contact us for any information or for a free quote on a custom package.

I grew up in western Michigan, and first started fishing salmon on Lake Michigan in the late 1960's. I traveled to Alaska's Kenai Peninsula on June 7, 1976 to work at Solid Rock Bible Camp for that summer. I became familiar with the salmon fishing on the Kenai River that year, and worked at some other jobs. My brothers and I started a fishing guide service in 1978 on the Kenai River. For decades now, I have been blessed to provide fishing and lodging services for thousands of visitors coming to Alaska.

Why they chose this property

We purchased our lodge property in 1989, with the plans of being better able to provide for the fishing and lodging needs of our clients. Our condo-style lodging allows you to dine in or you can choose from over a few dozen local restaurants. Our central location on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula gives you easy access to many outdoor activities.

What makes this property unique

Because our lodge is on the Alaska road system, your costs are greatly reduced as compared to fly-out lodges. Our logistics are so favorable for planning many activities for your party; you are able to be so much more independent in planning your itinerary. As compared to a remote fly-out lodge, where you pretty much are restricted as to possible activities for your party.
