Beautiful Location
The property was spotlessly clean. Elaine and Stan were very kind and helpful and provided advice and information on walks in the area. There is access to the moors from the cottage through the enviable garden so perfect for walking the dogs and many more beautiful walks within easy reach of the cottage. The cottage is compact, the bathroom was lovely and a good size, however the kitchen was smaller than anticipated. This didn't affect our enjoyment of the holiday and was more than compensated by this being one of the few properties we have found that would take our 3 dogs.

Beautiful 18th Century Cottage with Views
The cottage was comfortable for our family of four. This is an excellent location as a starting point for a vacation. The views are beautiful and it’s in the countryside but close enough to towns and the M62 so that you can go anywhere quickly. You can hike at the rear of the property and get fresh milk from the neighboring farm. Stan and Elaine are wonderful hosts living next door if you need anything. We will return in the future.
