The space

The Building:
35 year old building in very good condition comprised of a total of 9 flats. Built on pilotis there with an almost 2000sqm outdoor area on the ground floor with beautiful garden, parking spaces and ample space for kids to play (ride bikes, play ball etc)
Our fully renovated apartment enters on the 4th floor (last floor)

THE KITCHEN
The kitchen comes fully equipped with fridge, gas hob, built in oven, microwave oven, toasters,
filter coffee maker, a water filter tap, and loads of kitchen utensils to suit the most demanding cook
You are free to use the kitchen and all its equipment as well as the pantry and fridge for storage purposes.

THE LOUNGE/LIVING ROOM
The Living room has a corner sofa, a leather armchair and various puffs to comfortably sit 6-8 people
It has an LCD Viera Panasonic TV, a DVD and a stereo hi-fi.
It also has a large bookcase on the left.
The Wi-Fi router is on the bookcase as well.

THE BATHROOMS
There are three bathrooms in the apartment,
One on the third floor which has a bathtub and the other two on the fourth floor

THE VERANDAS
The veranda runs along the apartment. It has a lounge with a coffee table, armchairs and built sofa right outside the living room,
as well as a small table and chairs, and a BBQ outside the kitchen.

THE LAUNDRY ROOM
The apartment comes with a laundry room that has a top loading washing machine and stores all the cleaning products of the house, the iron and board and the vacuum cleaner.

Guest access
You can use all the rooms and spaces of the house. Where there are usage restrictions you will be informed via the House Rules document. The kitchen and all of its appliances are at your full disposal. However be very careful with the use of the gas BBQ outside the kitchen.

Interaction with guests
We normally are not around during check-in and check-out times, so you will have to take care of the transportation yourselves. After the booking has been confirmed we can recommend you a taxi/transport service as well as a car rental service. We always have someone to wait for you upon check in/check out.

Other things to note
For your convenience we offer an every-other-day 4hour cleaning service during the times 12.00-16.00. The cost of the cleaning service is incuded in the price.

HOUSE RULES

- Although we do offer an every other day 4hour cleaning service for your convenience, we would appreciate it if you also took care of the house and tidying as much as possible. Dirty dishes can be put straight into the dishwasher, clothes and shoes can be placed back in the cupboards/shoes racks etc. This way we can retain our cleaning costs down for you and our future guests.
- Due to some unfortunate theft incidents in the wider area we would like you to keep the entrance door, as well as all glass windows closed and locked during sleep hours and when you are away. Our neighbourhood is one of the safest ones in Athens, yet we want to ensure that your stay is as problem free as possible.
- You are free to use all storage amenities (wardrobes, cupboards) that don't come with a lock. There should be more than enough space for all your belongings.
- As we are an apartment in a block of flats we kindly ask you to keep in mind that there are quiet hours (15.00-17.30 and 23.00-07.00) enforced by law. Whilst we are sure you won't be throwing any parties during your stay, we do feel it's necessary to keep quieter during those hours especially.
- To keep our costs down (and pass those savings onto our guests) we kindly ask that you switch off the lights and the A/C or heating when you are not in the house. Mother nature thanks you too!
- While the A/C is in use, it would be much wiser to keep the windows closed so as to better maintain the desired temperature.
- Hot water is provided via a solar water heater. You may switch the elecrtic water heater on should the hot water not suffice.
- The central heating operates during specific hours decided from the council of the building. Should you need extra heating you may use the portable heaters provided in the bedrooms.
- Please be very careful when using the fireplace. Always make sure it is put down before you leave the apartment or the living room area and that the protector is in place. We would advise that the fireplace be lit by an experienced adult person. Please be careful not to approach any flammable objects near the fireplace and not to use any flammable liquids (ie alcohol etc) to light the fire up. In any case we don't encourage the use of the fireplace altogether.
- To ensure we keep the floorboards squeaky clean for our guests enjoyment and that we keep a hygienic atmosphere altogether we operate a no shoes policy in our apartment. Shoes must be taken off at the entrance and left at the shoes rack. Please make sure to carry clean slippers or flip-flops with you for that purpose.
- We kindly ask that you don't consume any liquid food in the living room area. Accidents are very common and it will be very difficult for us to clean food stains within a few hours cleaning before the next guests arrive.
- Our children are kindly offering their toys and books to the little guests. They would greatly appreciate it if they were all treated with respect. If your children are too young to play gently with the toys please let us know prior to your arrival so we can remove them. We really want our children to feel comfortable with our decision to have guests in our home. It's equally their home too!
- We do one sheet & towel change per week. Should you need any additional change meanwhile you may contact the host and they will direct you accordingly.

Must climb stairs - Should you or any of your fellow guests have any mobility issues we would suggest you picked one of the other bedrooms on the 4th floor

The Wi-Fi is very weak in the Master Bedroom. No matter what we've done, we can't seem to be able to fix this...
