About this property

Beachfront home perched on hillside private botanical garden. Total privacy..

Set on a hillside with breathtaking views of the main beach and coastline. Casa-21 is perched like a treehouse in the jungle and an easy 5 minute stroll (300 meters) down the beach to town. We are located directly on the end of the beach at the south end of town. Stunning tropical gardens provide total privacy. One of the oldest homes in Sayulita, Casa-21 exudes character and is fresh out of an extensive remodel. It is perched like a treehouse in a private botanical garden setting. The main house has a kitchen, living room, office, and three bedrooms. The central wooden deck, built amongst the trees, connects all the spaces. This is where you will probably be spending most of your time lounging in hammocks and enjoying the views. The detached palapa house has a room downstairs and a magical sleeping loft under the palapa roof. Walk up the garden trail to the top of the hillside to find the mirador palapa. This open room viewing platform under a palapa roof provides stunning views of the coastline north. Here you can watch wales and the surf break from your hammock. A bed is provided for this space as well if you feel like camping out al-fresco.

Luxe Swiss Family Robinson
Casa Nido is a magical getaway. Incredible location just across the street from a quieter stretch of beach, an absolutely gorgeous home with plenty of room for a large group, and an excellent team that was ready to help with anything we needed. The house is spectacular, and the rooms are all very open to the outside, which includes ridiculous sweeping views of the beach and ocean, gorgeous gardens and a lot of wildlife - lemurs, birds, lizards. If you’re focused on hermetically sealed air conditioned rooms this is not the right place for you- you can feel the breeze and hear the roar of the ocean in bed. We loved it. The kids in our group (8, 8, 11, 11) were obsessed with the home and the hammocks and terraces and palapas. Our creakiest member was a little sore from the stairs (there are a lot of stairs up to the house, which is perched like a nest on a hillside) but the rest of us didn’t mind. It’s nice that the home’s gate/entrance isn’t hilly, and you can still have (and park) golf carts out front to get into town, unlike some of the higher homes on the other side of town. The main drag was also super walkable through local streets or on the beach, even for our smallest kids. The groundskeeper (gracias Jesus!) kindly put out nice chairs and an umbrella each day on the beach, Marisol and the housekeeping team were so kind and wonderful, the property manager Jorge arranged airport transportation and other necessities for us, helped to troubleshoot a few minor issues, and was ready with details for the local doctor when we quick needed medical attention. There are two beach massage stands right across the street, and Armando, Fernando and team provided surf lessons and arranged for an excellent fishing trip with captain chalo. Highly reccomend this special house.

As good as it gets.....
Sayulita is a song, a stink, a cacophony, a feeling, a nostalgia, a dream. There is no place, I’ve found, on this planet with the unique charm of this Pueblo magico. This house is the perfect way to experience it all.

A unique and beautiful home, high in the trees. It was an easy walk to the beach and to town, but far enough away to sleep peacefully at night.

Beachfront treehouse artsy Paradise!
Surpassed all our expectations. This place is a thoughtful hip zen retreat steps from the quietest part of the beach. Jorge took care of everything for us and Marisol and Manuel kept the place looking gorgeous. This place is coffee-table book pretty with rustic chic vibes. LOVED it all!
