Mas de Roux is a beautifully restored former silkworm farm located in the Cévennes Piedmont in Bragassargues (a village in the Gard département).
Our setting, between the Camargue and the Cévennes in the heart of the Nîmes-Montpellier-Alès triangle, is a natural setting in which to discover the south of France and its year-round climate.

Our Piémont Cévenol region, far from mass tourism, offers the chance to recharge your batteries in a human-scale environment where life is good.

When you stay at Mas de Roux, we invite you to come and make the most of it and discover a simple, authentic and gourmet region. There is a wealth of local produce and we are committed to helping you discover it through our discussions, but also in the composition of our menus when you book your group meals, as well as in the composition of our breakfasts.

A land of discovery; our rich cultural heritage will take you back through the centuries. The many natural sites to visit will satisfy the curiosity of young and old alike. We will be delighted to help you discover them through our various media, so that you can prepare your stay as well as possible.

To accommodate your group, we have 3 gîtes that can be rented individually or not if you need a large number of beds (a total of 9 rooms in the gîtes and 24/26 beds):
- Gîte Pic Saint-loup; 155m2, 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 13.
- Gîte Castellas; 100m2, 3 bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 7.
- Le Gîte Hortus; 60 m2, 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4.

Our gîtes are not air-conditioned.

To enhance our group offer, we also have 3 guest rooms:

-Fragrance and Millésime are rooms for 2 people.
-Part des Anges is a room for 2 to 4 people.

Group bookings are available on a weekly basis from Saturday 5pm to the following Saturday 10am, all year round.
We offer rentals from 2 nights (except July and August, which are weekly, the end-of-year school holiday period and long weekends, which are from 3 nights).

Our rates are on request and include bed linen (beds made up on arrival), towels (no swimming pool, of course 😉 ), cleaning at the end of your stay (well, you still have to do a bit of maintenance during your stay, but I know you'll do it 💪 ) and water and electricity charges: there are no surprises at Mas de Roux other than wanting to welcome you in the best possible conditions.

Tourist taxes are not included. The amount is 3.5% of the overnight stay, excluding tax, per person over 18.

If you are renting for a group, you must also rent our Salle du Vieux Pressoir, which serves as a large communal room of 90m2 (it is linked to the largest of our gîtes by the kitchen) and we provide all the equipment to set up all your meals there.
Prices are available on request, depending on the needs of our guests and the length of their stay (basic rate €300 per day).

We can also offer group meals (breakfast, dinner and picnics, with packages for the whole stay or à la carte for specific occasions during your stay). We adapt our service to suit our customers, the season and the produce available from our local producers, and of course everything is homemade.
Our restaurant can accommodate groups of 12/15 people up to 40 people. Please contact us for further details.

As we always do, we will always do our best to offer you the cleanest possible accommodation. And we always put our heart and soul into our work.

We try to maintain the time needed for our total clean-up so that you arrive in the best possible conditions. This is why we have a 5pm arrival time.

Our linen is outsourced to an external professional laundry run by an ESAT about twenty kilometres from Mas de Roux.

We accept pets 🐕🐩🐈subject to certain rules laid down by their masters and mistresses (do not leave them alone in the accommodation, do not leave them alone in the vehicles, walk them under supervision and on a lead around the Mas): a supplement of €10 per night may be applied.
