Gite with Character in the Brittany Countryside

Poul Gouez is situated in a very peaceful country setting, 4 km away from Plouaret village (which has 2 medium sized supermarkets, 1 butcher, 2 bakeries, 1 chemist) and 1 km away from the N12 (which will give you easy access to the rest of Brittany).

The property is a detached traditional stone cottage (a “longère”), which has been renovated to modern standards and is well equipped for your stay. The house comprised downstairs an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen/diner (with m/wave, d/washer, fridge, freezer), a living room with woodburner, TV, DVD, free Wifi access and a bathroom/wc (with w/machine and h/dryer).

Upstairs, an open tread staircase leads to two double bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other one has a couple of single beds. Duvets or covers are included.

Off the main living area, there is a second seating room/games room (with a football table and a cupboard full of toys) for those days when the weather is not so sunny in Brittany. This is also where you can find the second bathroom (with WC and shower) and access to the third bedroom via a spiral staircase. This mezzanine bedroom contains a double bed.

Poul Gouez is at the border of two “départements” – Côtes d’Armor and Finistère. It is ideally located to visit the pretty towns of Lannion, Guingamp and Morlaix and the nearest beach is a twenty minute drive.
