The Lagaccione farm, 8 km from Abbadia San Salvatore, in the province of Siena, is in a hilly area and overlooks a wide and splendid panorama.
It is the "South Gate" of the Val d'Orcia Artistic-Natural-Cultural Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.
An area that combines the unique beauty of the Tuscan countryside with renowned and precious artistic centers such as Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, San Quirico d'Orcia, suggestive spas like Bagno Vignoni, San Casciano dei Bagni and Bagni San Filippo, and small villages in time.
Even the sea is not far, about an hour and a half to get to the "nature" beach of Alberese, a marine protected area in the Uccellina Park, near Grosseto. Less than an hour, however, to reach the beautiful Lake Bolsena, or the evocative Etruscan places of Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana.
Lagaccione is an old farm recently renovated, located in Val d'Orcia, near the Via Francigena, which in the Middle Ages was traveled by many pilgrims who went to Rome.
