Adorable Hill Country Cottage!

Sweet and elegant, you'll love this cottage on the Courtyard! It has everything and features a cushy queen bed with lovely linens, a cozy electric fireplace, a kitchenette (microwave, small fridge, sink) a bar with stools, comfy seating, streaming TV, a gorgeous stone shower with separate dressing area... it's just so nice. The cottage also has a great front porch with seating and bistro table, encircled by a picket-fenced courtyard. Enjoy beautiful sunrises there, while sipping your fresh-brewed Keurig coffee from the stocked coffee bar in your cottage. In addition, you have a back patio, nestled in the trees. Or sit in the lovely swing under the oak tree! You'll love the relaxed atmosphere here. While your cottage is still private, but also on the courtyard (to the side of your suite), you'll see a Fire Table, Bartop Seating and a swing, along with two other accommodations: Live Oak Lodge - 817896 and Lucky Star - 892497. Great weekend getaway!
We stayed here for Father’s Day weekend and it was a great location. Close enough to Dripping Springs if you wanted to do something, but secluded enough if you wanted space. Very clean and a really cool set up. Would be great to come back with other couples and all stay here.

The property was nice
Love the environment, but the cabins are too close together and the furniture was not comfortable. We were annoyed by a barking dog, the other guests, and the exterior lights. The saving grace was that we found a fire ring away from the cabins with some privacy. Having other cabins on the property was not mentioned, only the main house was. IMHO It was too expensive for what was offered.

I'm a Texas girl! And although my hubby, Matt (of more than a couple of decades) is from California, it didn't take him long to find his heart here. And we fell in love with this beautiful spot in the country! We've always enjoyed all kinds of "hosting", and we love sharing this with others. This place is a labor of love, and our guests can feel that.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property for so many reasons. And when we saw this spot, with the wet-weather tanks, beautiful oaks, and hill-country views, we couldn't wait to get here. There's nothing I enjoy more than morning coffee on the porch with an amazing sunrise or an afternoon on the swing under a big oak. And Dripping Springs is so charming, along with nearby artsy Wimberley just down the way. Such a neat, relaxed getaway from busy, groovy Austin!

What makes this property unique

You can enjoy the peace of the countryside, with the ability to be "in-town" in 10 minutes or in the big city of bustling Austin in just over a half-hour. Wimberley is just minutes away, and Fredericksburg just an hour! As for the accommodations, It's not your ordinary place; serene setting, lovely linens, hand-picked décor, attention to the details that will make you just plain happy. You'll see!
