Large, characterful house in quiet village
We had a lovely stay at this property. House is in a small village with a reasonable local supermarket, bakery, bar etc within a short walk. Parking was easy in nearby streets. It was located within a pleasant half hour to hour drive from beaches, and other tourist attractions. Car definitely essential. The house itself was spread over three floors with numerous sitting areas inside and out. We were a family of four and could lose each other within. Two of the three bedrooms are on the top floor and wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility problems. It was very hot when we were there but air conditioning worked well. Overall very relaxing holiday.

A real feeling of France
The pictures accurately represent the property which is a beautiful old French house set in a quiet French village. Mountains and sea within 30-45 minutes drive. Good communication with the property owner.

A lovely, comfortable family home and a great base for exploring the area
A well appointed, comfortable, lovely family home that provides a great base for exploring the area. The owners are extremely friendly and hospitable and their local knowledge, hints and tips greatly enhanced our holiday. We had a wonderful fortnight in the house and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

We are an academic couple, with a huge affection for France, who have had years of family fun in Puisserguier.

Why they chose this property

Languedoc is one of the most beautiful, unspoilt places, full of wonderful food and wine. There is a huge range of sporting amenities, and it is a historically and culturally rich area of great diversity and interest. Our house is a historic, charming and comfortable 'vigneron' cottage' that has been modernised but retains period detail. It has some heating and air conditioning, is well appointed with a pleasant amount of outdoor space.

What makes this property unique

This is a lovely house in a beautiful unspoilt regions of France and Europe. We fell in love with this particular house because it reflects the viniculture of the region and is so characteristic of Languedoc wine villages. Restoring and doing it up over the years has been a labour of love and a great project. We look forward to sharing it with you.
