Relaxing in Staveley
Well located spacious cottage with views. Comfortable bed & seating. Kitchen & washing machine very adequate. Thanks to our host Emma who met us on arrival, was very helpful and made us feel at home. Good selection of local information provided. Fast wifi helped as our 3 phone nework signal was erratic.

Lovely 6 nights in Yorkshire countryside
Cozy cottage with all necessary facilities, and GREAT hosts who responded caringly to all requests. We are 70 year old "quite well travelled adventurers" and found delightful market towns, picnic spots.. and pubs in vicinity. The evening walk to the local was very pleasant, the food portions generous, and daily dishes enjoyable. Special thanks to our hosts who were very attentive to our arthiritic needs in climbing the 7 or 8 stairs when entering and leaving the cottage. Strongly recommended.

My husband Tim and I have lived in North Yorkshire for most of our lives. The Cottage is in the grounds of our house so we will usually be on hand to offer as much or little assistance as you require

With 2 children aged 5 and 3 we moved here for them to experience village life yet be near enough to the towns and attractions we also enjoy experiencing.

Kind regards, Emma

Why they chose this property

Staveley is nearer our friends, families and places we enjoy visiting. Minutes from the A1 yet overlooking open fields and hearing birds singing makes this our perfect location.

What makes this property unique

So many of the most beautiful attractions in Yorkshire are within a 30 minute drive of this property, no need to spend all day in the car finding places to enjoy
