About this property

Sherbet Cottage - 3 Bedroom Fisherman's Cottage, Whitstable, Kent

Sherbet Cottage is a newly renovated fisherman's cottage located just metres from Whitstable's famous harbour, pebble beaches and independent shops and boutiques. With all of the comforts of your home, but by the sea. Sherbet Cottage is a well equipped and beautifully presented cottage with the added bonus of it's own parking space to the rear of the property. The cottage is beautifully decorated in neutral tones sympathetic to the coastal surroundings. The cottage boasts a south facing garden area with family seating, perfect for al fresco breakfast, lunch or dinner on the supplied Weber Smokey Joe BBQ. A favourite with small kids and big kids alike is Sherbet Cottage’ very own mini traditional sweet shop, where guests can indulge in a large range of old fashioned, sweet shop favourites.... and of course the reason behind the name “sherbet cottage”!

A lovely cottage
You won’t be disappointed if you book this comfortable well equipped cottage. My friend and I stayed for two nights. We enjoyed soaking up the local atmosphere, walking around the charming town, a coastal walk, and sampling the local oysters.

My Husband and I have live in Sevenoaks, Kent. We have a 14 year old daughter and 11 year old son.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love Whitstable after staying in this beautiful coastal town during 2013. We enjoy wandering through the quaint high street, with it's independent shops and fantastic restaurants.

What makes this property unique

We bought Sherbet Cottage in 2013. The location of the cottage is perfect, 2 minutes walk to the harbour, beach and high street. With it's own parking space at the cottage, this relieves any parking stress during high season.
