Beautiful views as you relax on your lanai overlooking the world famous seven mile beach. Master bedroom with in suite bath. Patio door to the french balcony is an arms reach from the king size bed in the master room. Wake up, roll over and gaze at the gorgeous aqua blue Caribbean water and white beach. The condo sleeps six with a master bedroom, en suite bathroom, guest bedroom, bedroom/den, shared guest bathroom, large living area, dinning area and kitchen area. Washer and dryer available (laundry soap provided), air conditioned, and new large screen high definition TV. The condo is third floor which lends itself to more privacy, security and sweeping views of the Caribbean. (I also figure those added steps balances the sunset wine and cheese). Two amazing pools on property, one overlooking the ocean and the other, which is very child friendly is located in middle of the property. Lighted tennis courts, a child's play area, kayaks, paddle-boards, bikes are available for your use at no extra charge. Wonderful barbecue area with large Weber gas grills conveniently located.
Extra amenities SPECIFIC TO MY CONDO (#28), besides the best view on the property include, snorkel equipment X4, chilled filtered water dispenser, games, DVDs, six tennis rackets, sand toys, foot cleaning area prior to entering the condo complete with chair and towels to wipe your feet, amazing art work, multiple chairs, stools, foot stools and pillows for your comfort. Amazingly well stocked kitchen as I do stay here 3 months of the year. I purposely kept one standard bathtub for young children. Because of the unique location of #28, the lanai provides a wonderful sun filled spot and a nice area that always has some shade for when you have had a little too much sun. This particular condo also has the best breezes as prevailing winds are northeast to southwest and condo #28 is located top floor, northwest corner of the front building of the property catches those breezes wonderfully. When staying here we rarely use the air conditioning. I just love the breezes and the sound of lapping waves.
The property is wonderfully located on the south end of Seven Mile Beach making car rental an option. When you arrive in George Town, Plantation Village is a short 10 minute Taxi ride. Just note on your emigration form you are staying at Plantation Village, and tell the same to the taxi driver. We have an office that is open 8 to 5 and will be awaiting your arrival. Please let me know if you will be arriving later and arrangements will be made for you to check in and get keys. Once on property you can choose to rent a car, catch a taxi, use the public bus transportation which runs frequently on West Bay Road, or simply walk. It is easy walking distance to Kirk's well stocked supermarket, Big Daddy's liquor store, and many great restaurants. Camana Bay is an upscale shopping/eating area again in easy walking distance. A booklet with our favorite restaurants is in the condo. Two properties away is the Marriott hotel with ocean side dinning, bar and water sports for rent.

Difficult
The 3rd floor stairs were to much for my paraplegic wife, we ended up renting a second unit on the grown floor, making stay quite costly. Also there is NO BEACH. advertising that unit is on "7 Mile Beach" is very misleading.

Private Waterfront - Immaculate & Well Equipped
Beautiful condo in quiet, well-located complex. We travel frequently, and this was the most well-equipped and maintained unit we've experienced. Walking distance from several good local restaurants, paddle boards and kayaks available to use, 2 pools and even pickleball/tennis court. We were glad to find this - booked later than we should have and were fortunate to find an opening.

It was our first time in the Caymans and it did not disappoint. I could live on the Lanai with its beautiful and serene view of the ocean and 7 Mile Beach. This condo is well-appointed, everything you need for an extended stay. It also has updated appliances and a water dispenser to keep you hydrated. Love to enjoy the sea and snorkel? This host has everything you need to venture into the water. The location is great, close to the local Kirk Market for groceries, liquor stores on every corner and lots a great places nearby to eat--almond croissants at Icoa, seafood at The Wharf, jerk-everything at Peppers and a stone's throw from Ms. Pipers. We took advantage of the abundance of local buses and the Bird scooters. Our host was SUPER responsive ensuring our stay was relaxing and carefree. Would return happily! Plantation Village vacation
Laura was a true pleasure to work with. She answered all our questions in a timely manner. Her condo was perfect for our group and the screened balcony was great with an awesome view. The on-site team in the office were also very helpful with suggestions and information for chair/umbrella rentals. We would recommend this unit to rent.

I am a retired physician married to a retired middle school teacher. I grew up in lower Michigan and had the opportunity to visit Grand Cayman with my mother and her friends when I was 20 years old. Fast forward to age 38, pregnant, two preschoolers in tow, I again visited Cayman, stayed at Plantation Village and fell in love with the property. Having made my home in South Dakota, looking forward to a warm vacation every February allowed me to survive my new harsher environment. In 2016 we had the opportunity to purchase unit #28. We did an extensive remodel with our comfort in mind as we stay on island 3 months out of the year.
Consequently #28 is not your typical "rental unit" but our home we love to share.
We now have five adult children, one daughter-in-law (proposed to on 7 mile beach of course), one son-in-law (also 7 mile proposal), two Tonkinese cats (who miss us dearly when we are on island). Are first grand child, Henry, nearly five years old has been on island three times. Unfortunately, he and his little brother were not able to come to Cayman because of Covid but will probably get down here summer 2022! We have come full circle and will continue spinning around!

Why they chose this property

So my family, above, started vacationing in unit #28 in 1992. We initially owned two, then four weeks of a time share in this unit and traveled yearly to our favorite relaxation spot. In 2016 the entire unit came up for sale and we bought. February 2016 we completely remodeled the unit--all the things I had dreamed about for years. Making a great property awesome. We remodeled with our comfort and use in mind but are pleased to share this dream with our guests. We hope you grow to love Cayman and this unit in particular the way we do.
Extras we have provided in unit #28 include games, store of DVDs, tennis rackets and 4 sets of snorkel equipment. The sunny lanai is partially shaded with beautiful views of the Caribbean sea and fantastic sunsets.

What makes this property unique

This is an amazing property and unit #28 is the pinnacle unit. The unit is second floor which allows privacy and sweeping views. Plantation Village is located south on 7 mile beach. We are the corner unit on the north side of the building which affords a grand view up the entire stretch of 7 mile beach. The unit was completely remodeled in 2016 with open floor plan allowing visiting together while in the living area, dinning area, kitchen and lanai. Kitchen is well appointed. A small stock of nonperishables are available in the kitchen, so check the cupboard out before you go shopping. Filtered chilled water dispenser in the kitchen so no lugging water up to the unit. Smart TV with Netflix available. Both bathrooms have been updated with multiple areas to accommodate toiletries. Also many touches such as multiple hooks available to hang bathing suits, towels, and USB ports in every room for charging all your electronics. Basin provided to use by the door with a hook for "sand" towels (blue towels in laundry cupboard) to clean sand off your feet. High end washer and dryer in the unit with laundry soap provided.
Plantation Village is well situated on the beach close to most anything you would need. Across the West Bay Road is Coconut Joes-- local causal restaurant/bar. Down West Bay Road going south towards George Town is Big Daddy's liquor store. Located above the liquor store is XQs which is very good food at reasonable prices. Further down the road in 7 Mile Plaza is my favorite bakery of all times with the best almond croissants in the world and very interesting evening selections. In that same plaza is a dive shop for buying or renting snorkeling gear. No need to rent a boat to go snorkeling, simply walk in from our beach and swim out to the near by reef. The Marriott Hotel is just north on 7 mile, a 5 minute walk on the beach for morning cappuccinos, lattes, evening island drinks, restaurant over looking the Caribbean and water sport rentals available.
