Great Value! Beautiful Custom Maui Kaanapali Villas Condo

Maui Kaanapali Villas is a low density resort located just north of Lahaina on the world famous Kaanapali Beach, which is rated one of the top ten beaches in the United States. The resort is set on 11 acres of beautifully groomed tropical gardens. The beach is a two-minute stroll from the unit.

The two pools were totally redone with new hot tubs added. Also located on the grounds is the beach side Castaway Restaurant. Whale watching is at a premium right from the beach from December to April. Enjoy the clean, beautiful gas grills in 3 different locations on the property, 2 of which are close by. Laundry facility and gym updated as of May 2019. Gym has all new equipment for your enjoyment (or torture)!!

There is no other condo like Banyan 242 on property. Custom cabinets, new appliances, stone floors and counter tops were installed in the kitchen. The bathroom was also redone. The same stone was used on the bathroom vanity as well as the large, walk-in shower.

The living area is equipped with a queen-size wall bed, comfortable couch and a table with 2 chairs. There is not a separate bedroom as this is a studio.

The wrap around lanai is perfect for relaxing and creating a cross breeze through the condo. Free wireless internet is also available in the room. One time cleaning provided at check out.

Free trolley to all of Kaanapali area which is also in walking distance. This condominium cannot be beat for price and location!

Great little place
This is a great location. The two pools and beach access are nice and the space is very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and were close to a friend’s wedding. I didn’t spend much time on the lanai because we were too busy but that might feel a little noisy for some for is proximity to the road but it’s a really great spot. We had friend who reserved ocean front but liked our beach access better.

Great Homebase
The unit was very clean and pleasant. The property manager was easy to reach and communicated with us about quick repair of small maintenance issues. The beach access was a little far but very nice. We did a lot of site seeing and driving around so didnt spend much time in the unit since it was a bit of a trek from a lot of the attractions and food stops we wanted to visit but we were glad to come back to a comfortable spot at the end of the day. It was nice to have the full kitchen as well.

Small but has it all!
The staff and grounds were wonderful! Room was clean and bed was comfortable … had a great time at the beach and pool and the food was very good at the Castaway Cafe with great service ..I miss everyone already I met there.. Aloha until next year!

Troy is a commercial beekeeper in CA and works with 1800 hives. Susan is a retired children's pastor. After retiring she was "sucked" into the bee business and now works with Troy. They hope to retire in the next few years so they are able to spend more time in Maui as well as with family and helping with various ministries of their church. They live on 10 acres with their dog, Kona, and miniature donkeys. When they are in Maui they enjoy scuba-diving, hiking, visiting with new friends found at MKV and relaxing on our never-crowded beach.

Why they chose this property

We began going to Maui in 1990 with our 2 children and always rented a friends condo at Maui Kaanapali Villas. When we decided to buy a condo not much was available at MKV so we looked around the area but came to the conclusion that there is nothing like MKV out there. We love the old Hawaiian feel as well as the quiet, spacious feel at the resort. It is low-density which we really appreciate and you just can't beat that sandy beach and view!

What makes this property unique

There is not another resort like Maui Kaanapali Villas on Kaanapali Beach. It is low density, only 260 units on 12 acres, and has that old Hawaiian feel you just don't find anywhere else. The pools and beach are never crowded - no need to get out there at 6 am to save a lounge chair! And we have met nothing but nice people there! The boardwalk is great for walking north to a grocery store (about a mile) or south 1 mile to Whaler's Village. There is also a free trolley that picks up at our lobby and takes you around the Kaanapali area.
