This converted barn with private parking and lovely sunny pool is in the small hamlet of La Verrerie. Rural, but not isolated it is the ideal location to explore the beautiful Dordogne. A spacious property with French windows opening directly onto a terrace, with your own private pool , just a few meters away. Pretty gardens featuring a covered BBQ and dining area to enjoy al fresco dining at it's best. Sainte Alvere is 4 mins by car, there are 2 bakeries, supermarket, post office, pharmacy, doctors and dentists surgeries. There is also a bar/ tabac and restaurant.
A new restaurant, opening May 2017, at La Cornedie is 2 mins by car or a lovely 15 min walk with fabulous views towards the Dordogne river.

Lovely and private. excellent host.
Lovely and private. Ideal location to unwind and recharge the batteries. The owners live opposite, and are at hand if needed, but not intrusive at all. very warm welcome on arrival, but then left us to our own devices. With the private pool literally just outside the barn, what more would you want. Would go again
