Trehawks benefits not only from its enviable location and proximity to some of Cornwall's premier destinations such as Polzeath (3 miles) premier surfing beach, Daymer Bay (2.5 miles) windsurfing and swimming, Rock Beach (2.5 miles) with ferry to historic fishing port of Padstow and gastronomic capital of Cornwall but also has access to all of the facilities offered by Parkdean St Minver Holiday Park these include; Heated indoor swimming pool with toddlers pool & sauna (open from Easter to early November), soft play area, kid's clubs, restaurant with takeaway facility, club house with bar, entertainment, sky sports, pool table, amusements (Please note that the swimming pool and clubhouse are open from Easter through to the beginning of November). There are also picnic & barbecue areas, woodland walks and for your convenience; a mini-market, laundrette and cash machine. (nominal charges may apply for the use of some of these facilities) No Trehawks has a Southerly aspect affording all day sunshine on its ample decking area for those that just want to chill out and absorb the rays!

Wonderful relaxing stay
We have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay. From the moment we walked in, we could not fault one single thing, it was perfect for us and our two young children. We brought towels and sheets etc from home but we didn’t need to bring anything. The property had everything we needed, with two bathrooms, a washer/dryer which was perfect with two young children. The facilities on site were great, we particularly loved the onsite swimming pool which we had booked and used every morning. The little local pub ’The Fourways Inn’ was perfect for an evening drink. We didn’t want to leave, and we would love to come back! Thank you for making this a wonderful holiday after a long 18 months!!!

lodge is very warm but if you open back door and front door a nice breeze is created. Good position, plenty of parking.

Cabin is situated in very good location on the site, all facilities were in very good condition and the house keeper had done all that was required for Covid. Some features were a little tired, seating was too low for us so spent most of the time sitting on patio chairs. First day one of the steps broke as I was descending causing slight injury to my leg so we had to use the rear entrance., an effective repair was made 2 days later but further inspection showed that other issues were likely to happen with the decking around the cabin. We had excellent weather which made up for these issues.

Loved the lodge
Loved the lodge and immediate road, but the rest of the complex wasn’t as good. This area of Cornwall was amazing.

I am 62 years and a retired Senior University Lecturer. I have spent holidays in the Polzeath / Rock area since the age of 2! and learned to swim at Daymer Bay as a 3 year old. This is a very special place and one can never tire of its timeless charm.

I purchased this property for its modern design, perfect location and accessibility to the very best that beautiful Cornwall has to offer.

What makes this property unique

I love anything to do with the outdoors and the sea therefore this is my idea of heaven on earth. Long coastal walks, surfing at Polzeath, wreck diving, fishing, golf at the championship course at St Endoch, gastronomic food at Steins / Ainsworth's No6 and Nathan Outlaw's to name but a handful of the delights that this area has to offer.

The adjacent St Minver Holiday Park offers additional utility such as a heated indoor swimming pool and sauna, restaurant and lounge bar with entertainment, Sky sports, kid's clubs and numerous other activities.
