Very clean, very local
The cottage was lovely. Clean, cute, and fully equipped. Management of the property seemed to be a group effort. All queries and concerns were addressed by the workers at the Restaurant. The WiFi did not work, but that was okay—we came to get away after all. Overall, it was an interesting and pleasant stay.

Nice little getaway
Pretty much everything as described in the listing. Although I brought a small tv on the owners advise only to find a nearly exact (Visio) tv already there! The property was just right for a few days “nearly” off the grid with pretty much everting you'd expected in a cabin. We found groceries just a short drive away as well as a wide range of dining. We would definitely stay again if our vacation plans bring us to the Arnold/Bear Valley area again. The only things keeping me from a 5 star rating were some wifi unreliability and no telephone service (AT&T cell phones don’t have service in Dorrington). The local tavern personnel were happy to help or make a call for us and after a reset of the wifi things went fine for the rest of the stay. Early morning Highway 4 traffic was occasionally loud enough to wake me. So overall we are quite happy and found this rental to be a good value!

Great getaway
Enjoyed the cute cabin with my boyfriend for a weekend getaway. It was very cozy and we loved having coffee on the porch. It was also very nice having a restaurant and bar within walking distance. Very close to Big Trees.
