About this property

5 magnificent houses in a private valley. Pool can be heated. Sleeps 12.

Valle de la Luna is a very exclusive eco-friendly farm.. We rent the entire farm so the heated pool, the barbecue area, etc. they are for the sole and exclusive use of the group that has rented Valle de la Luna in a given period.
In total, there are 5 houses, each slightly separated from each other. No more than 5 to 30 meters from each other. We have named each house according to the most common winds in the Mediterranean. Each one has its own particular distribution as follows:

Casa Tramontana: 3 double rooms with bathroom en suite each. The 3 bedrooms in this house are not connected internally.

Casa Mistral: 1 double room (35 m2) with bathroom en suite and a small bed for a child (baby). This house has a kitchen, a dining room for 12 people, a bathroom and a living room, which also has a sofa bed.

Casa Ponent: 1 double room, sofa bed and bathroom en suite.

Casa Garbi: 1 double room, sofa bed and bathroom en suite.

Casa Gregal: it is the main common house (120 m2). It is an open space with a full kitchen, a dining room for 12-14 people, a living room, and a quiet work office. This home also has a guest bathroom.

The sofa beds in some of the rooms are a flexible and child-friendly alternative.
The exterior signs of the farm are the dry stone terraces that divide the slopes of the farm where fruit crops, flowers and tree masses are mixed.
The farm has a heated saltwater pool very close to the large and complete barbecue area that has an outdoor dining room for 12 people with all the comforts of crockery, cutlery and appliances (refrigerator, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc.).
Throughout the garden there are welcoming and pleasant details such as a spacious pergola, ditches and ponds that frame an imposing sculpture "Nerves of Steel" by the artist Juan Garaizabal.
Each house is surrounded by a garden.
WiFi throughout the farm, AA / heating in all houses.
Daily cleaning (common areas, beds if rooms are available, and bathroom cleaning) allows the family to take care of what is important, rest.
The farm is accessed by the Camí de Sa Figuera rural road (1 km.) through olive and orange groves. Due to the characteristics of the road, a tall car is recommended.
The Valle de la Luna is ideal for a relaxation experience and to enjoy family and rest and to be able to combine it with telecommuting

Stunning property but not a perfect stay
The space itself its absolutely stunning and each independent structure offers enough space and privacy for a large group to not feel on top of each other. VRBO lists check in time as 3:30pm, we arrived at 3:20 and were yelled at by the property manager as she didn’t want us to be there until 4. Her kids were swimming in the pool and she was pretty aggressive. Ultimately we were allowed to stay but it was very uncomfortable. Upon arrival we were also told that there would be no housekeeping for us as we booked prior to the price increase so this wouldn't be included for us even though it was clearly stated in the listing. Later that evening the property manager threatened to send the police to the house if we didn’t send our passport pictures to her immediately even though she had never asked before & didn’t ask for them during check in when we were all together in person. We also had a few broken showers which we asked to have fixed multiple times, maintenance did come but these were never fixed. We also had clothes stuck in the washing machine for 3 days before maintenance was able to open it up. My last criticism is that i reached out to the property manager 60 days prior to our arrival to ask about grocery provisioning & arranging transportation to and from the airport etc. My request was ignored in our chat. They then reached out the day before arrival addressing my requests which id already arranged as I couldn’t delay organizing the above for a group of 12.

Magnificent and luxurious houses and garden!
We stayed at Valle de la luna with 2 families with 4 kids and grand parents and couldn't be more happy with our stay. The garden and pool area were great for kids, the bbq area magnificent for dinners outside, and the housing perfect with separate sleeping areas but common social areas for having dinner and breakfast all families together. Lorena, the manager, was very accommodating and prepared a great welcome for us and was very helpful during our stay. The garden and houses were super nice and luxurious, and the whole place felt very luxurious. Also, highly recommend the private chef Rafael which you can book to prepare breakfast and dinner for you. We had Rafael for breakfast once and dinner twice, all which were out of this world and Rafael went over and above to provide some of the best food experiences of our lives. If you stay at Valle de la luna, you got to get Rafael to prepare dinner and bbq for you, I promise you won't regret it

My special birthday !
I booked Valle de la Luna for a week of birthday celebrations with my sisters and my friends - we had a truly wonderful time. The property is very special and is in the most beautiful setting - we instantly relaxed. I had chosen to be close to Port Soller as it is a place we love and it was amazing to be within walking distance of the port and all the restaurants. The path down is definitely a bit rocky but with trainers or good footwear it's no problem and it's a lovely walk. Taxis were at times a problem as some taxi companies refused to drive down the unmade road, while others were happy to do it - it's actually not too bad, it just requires slow driving! Lorena, the concierge, was extremely helpful and my request for a food delivery the evening we arrived was no trouble for her - she even set it out beautifully, ready for our arrival. We are all very much hoping to return to Valle de la Luna next year!

Perfect gathering space
I booked Jose’s place to celebrate a family event. It was perfect. The property was so peaceful and more than met all our needs. The only thing was the road in and out limited our coming and goings, which in the end was a blessing as we stayed on property most the time. I highly recommend.

We are a couple who have traveled a lot and after getting to know this delightful corner of the Tramuntana in Mallorca fell in love with this cozy corner in the Orange Valley in Soller. To be able to share it with our guests so they can perceive the charm of this place is a pleasure.

Why they chose this property

During a boat trip through the Mediterranean we claim to take shelter from a storm in Soller port. The couple of days we spent sightseeing while waiting to resume the trip was enough to fall in love with htis spot. For a while we looked for a place in Soller to settle our vacation home and when teh Valle de la Luna appeared we did not hesitate a moment. Rehabilitation and arrangements were required but it was the beginning of a beautiful adventure.

What makes this property unique

The best feature is the privacy and independance that the layout of two houses with common facilities provides. Highly recommended for all ages where all common areas (barbecue, pool, garden ...) let you enjoy outdoor activiteis and have a sense of absolute privacy. It is ideal for hiking during Autumn and Winter and in good weather the proximity to the sea, the beach and the port is a real privilege.
The spacious garden preceded by a beautiful pine tree, fruit trees with delicious fruit at your fingertips or the various corners of the garden are features that give true character to the property.
