Disappointed to arrive to see muddy building site next door,Home and Away should inform customers ,it was quiet but muddy to cross for walks along the footpath with dog . Cottage was cosy, but not as clean as it could have been,eg loads cobwebs, woodlice and dead flies on the floors ,which we cleared and dirty windows . Bedrooms very comfortable, with nice bed linen, and bathroom with plenty hot water.kitchen well equipped.
Cottage is in a very good position for exploring Dartmoor .
Excellent location, lovely place.
Stayed for a week in this dog friendly cottage, hot tub was a real treat, just to laze in, in the evening after a day out with the dogs (dogs didn’t go in hot tub by the way)!! Close to Cheriton Bishop where there is a lovely pub called the Old Thatch, there homemade pies are the best. Cottage is ideal location to Dartmoor, and other surrounding area. Only took us 45mins to get to Torquay, would certainly book again.
Happy time at Cheriton Bishop.
Nice quiet location, plenty of private parking, fast and reliable wi-fi (a must these days) spacious cottage with established flower beds. Non-overlooked rear garden with sunny aspect. Really enjoyed the hot-tub. Great location for exploring Devon. Owner was responsive, helpful and thoughtful.

Had a great 10 days stay. It's got everything you need. We went out everyday and visited different parts of Devon. It's was lovely to come back on an evening and relax in the hot tub.
