Perfect getaway
The property was as advertised, with a nice welcome package of fresh laid eggs(which we forgot to bring home) and chocolates. Fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee was also supplied. Was nice to see logs and kindling available too. Very dog friendly. The host was very nice indeed. Loved it

Cozy cottage in perfect location.
We loved the cottage. It is perfectly situated to enjoy Inverness and drive around the loch. The place was clean, and we had everything we needed to cook. Plenty of hot water! We loved seeing the farm animals on the property.

Very nice stay. Cold weather but warm welcome
There were four of us plus our dog and we had a wonderful stay at Veronica's Cottage, despite rain almost every day. Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen and of course wonderful surroundings. Veronica lives right next door and would have been available if we needed her. But as everything fitted and everything in the house was well explained, we didn't need to call on her. The dogs (Veronica has two) got on well - otherwise everything was prepared for them not to meet. You should have a car, even if the bus stop is not far away. Shopping is easy in Beauly (8 minutes) or you can drive to Inverness (25 minutes). We had to change our plans twice - but that was no problem. As I said, Veronica is very accommodating and a very good hostess.

I was born and grew up on the property where the cottage sits. The cottage is where the original family home was, it was rebuilt 10 years ago. It is a passion of mine to share this beautiful area with people from all over and let them see what the Highlands has to offer.

Animals are a large part of my life and are all part of the family, come and feed the lambs, horses, hens, ducks and geese.

Red squirrels and woodpeckers can be seen in the woods beside the cottage. You can walk freely around the wood and enjoy the peace and quiet.
