Recently re-furbished and furnished to a very high standard by the Interior Designer owners is both comfortable and stylish. This property comprises the third floor of an imposing Victorian villa, yet is accessed at road level and has parking. The outdoor heated swimming pool in the grounds below is shared with the occupants of just three neighbouring apartments. Wellingtons is just a ten minute downhill stroll from The beautiful harbour town of Salcombe with its abundance of boutique shops and cafes as well as several lovely sandy beaches, closest being North Sands and the famous "Winking Prawn" beach cafe!

Amazing beautifully designed apartment in great location
This is a fantastic apartment beautifully designed in a wonderful location. So much thought has gone into the fixtures and fittings with luxury and comfort in mind. The pool is set in a lovely garden and is private and secluded. Close to town centre and North/South Sands. I would highly recommend.

Short stay in Salcombe
Lovely apartment with sea view. Short hilly walk into Salcombe. Sadly we didn’t sleep the last evening due to fire alarm battery dying and couldn’t be silenced. Owner kept in touch but they couldn’t get anyone as it was Bank holiday.

Fabulous Apartment
Fabulous apartment, tastefully decorated. Great views of the estuary from lounge and bedroom with a lovely balcony. Bedroom 3 a little snug with a shower room across the hall. Two good sized en-suite bedrooms. Two allocated parking spaces. Easy walk into Salcombe but very hilly coming up from Salcombe or North Sands. Great food at Winking Prawn and amazing Sunday lunch at Gara Rock. Definitely recommend this apartment.

Our 25 year old daughter has grown up digging on Salcombe's sandy beaches and mucking about on boats in the Estuary!

Why they chose this property

The Salcombe estuary is arguably one of the most scenic seaside locations in the UK. For us, like so many others it was love at first sight, Salcombe is the perfect place to unwind as it has something to suit everyone. We really feel with have the best of all worlds here, a lovely bustling town, full of life with lovely boutiques and restaurants, but with easy access to the coastal paths where you can easily find your own peaceful spot to admire the gorgeous views. The area really is a boating paradise, whether you want to Sail at the Island Cruising Club, take a ferry to one of the sandy beaches, hop on a scenic tour or hire your own vessel and explore the inland creeks (and pubs!)

What makes this property unique

Wellingtons is the perfect choice for a relaxing break, you really don't need to get back in the car for the duration of your stay. Everything is in walking distance, We are a ten minute downhill stroll to both Salcombe town and Northsands Beach, where the famous Winking Prawn beach cafe/bistro is situated & open all day. Being just a short distance from the town, Wellingtons is a lovely peaceful retreat, especially in the high season when the town is bustling, you can come back for a swim in the lovely outdoor pool. (Please note the pool is open from the late May Bank holiday to Mid September, please check with owner for exact dates).

We are Interior Designers and this apartment is our beloved home. It has been our aim to make the interior both elegant and tasteful as well as relaxing and comfortable.
