Dragon Cottage is an 18th Century Smugglers Cottage. It is situated in the picturesque conservation area of Deal and is within a stone's throw of the beach. It has a cosy sitting room with log fire and squishy sofa. The well equipped kitchen diner is roomy and has a comfy chair as well as the formal dining area. The courtyard garden is a sun trap and has a BBQ area as well as table and chairs. There is a steep staircase to the upper floor so this property is not suited to anyone with mobility difficulties. The bathroom is upstairs and there is one generous double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The cottage is situated in the conservation area of Deal which is full of history and supports a thriving artistic community. There is a wide range of shops nearby - both high street brands such as Boots, WH Smith, Costa coffee and also local butchers, fishmongers, bakers and Organic Veg shops such as No Name shop for cheese and olives, Hoxton Shop, Dunlin and Diver and 123 for gifts.
