Charming Stone Villa with private pool surrounded by a luxuriant garden

Tipical stone farmhouse with private pool surrounded by a wonderful garden rich of succulent plants and olive and almond trees. The villa, built in 1700 AD, is independent, furnished with antiques and located in a typical rural village on the hill of Scopello. The area is cool even in summer and the house has perimeter stone walls one meter wide so you never feel hot. The villa is very close to the natural reserve of "Zingaro" where you enjoy the contact with nature meeting in the wild rabbits, porcupines, owls, hawks, foxes, sheep and cows. You'll be able to swim into one of the most striking place of sicily: the “tonnara” of scopello with its marvelous stacks and in the evening taste the very good local seafood and meat with the best wines of sicily. Otherwise you will visit the most important archaeological sites in the sicily: segesta, selinunte, mothia or take a trip to palermo, monreale, trapani, erice, marsala and the egadi isles (favignana, levanso and marettimo). At the end you can remain at home and enjoy the greatest quiet, walking among almond trees and succulent plants or swinging under a secular olive tree.

A little break in paradise
We had great vacations to the house of Rosalba and Fabio. The house is really nice with a beautiful garden and the swimming pool. Everything was super clean with all what we needed to enjoy our stay. The area of Scopello is just wonderful, with nice beaches, coves and just at the entrance of the beautiful Zingaro reserve. A big thanks to the hosts. They welcome us and give us plenty of nice tips to visit the area and to find the best restaurants around. We will come back for sure in this little piece of paradise.

Beautiful property, we would love to come back.
This was a lovely old stone property with a beautiful large garden and swimming pool. Rosalba and family were perfect hosts and commication was great prior to and during our stay. The property was clean and well equipped and had everything we needed. It was lovely to be in the mountains but with the coast just a 15 minute drive away and it made a great base to explore the area from including Scopello, Castellammare del Golfo, Zingaro nature reserve and Segesta. The property offered everything we could want, sun, shade, pool and it was great to have the cooler bedrooms downstairs. We had a brilliant stay here and have left with wonderful memories.

BEAUTIFUL RUSTIC HOME
Wonderful escape to a charming cottage. Bedrooms were large and the outside areas were exceptional: delightful cactus gardens and views over stunning scenery. We would not hesitate to return.

You can taste the very good local seafood and meat with the best wines of Sicily. You can visit the most important archaeological sites in the Sicily: Segesta, Selinunte, Mothia. You can take a trip to Palermo, to Monreale, to Trapani, to Marsala or to the Egadi isles (Favignana, Levanso e Marettimo). At the end you can remain at home and enjoy the greatest quiet, walking among almond trees and succulent plants or swinging under a secular olive tree. You'll have really relax and enjoy the contact with nature meeting rabbits, porcupines, owls, hawks, foxes, sheep, cows in the wild.
