Villa Papatyam is a traditional villa situated at the edge of forests in the beautiful village of islamlar. The villa accommodates five guests, including children. With its private pool, large terrace, outdoor bbq and stunning sea views over the hills towards kalkan, villa papatyam is your excellent choice for a relaxing holiday. The hills ensure a cooler and dryer climate than the one down at the sea shore: generally a marked difference of around 5 degrees c in summer.A holiday spent at villa papatyam allows you to combine the quiet surroundings of islamlar with the attractions of kalkan and its region, among others beautiful patara beach (a 20+ minute drive), kaputas beach (also a 20+ minute drive), and many archaeological sites such as xanthos and letoon. Kalkan town with its friendly pebble beach, abundant restaurants and attractive shops is only a 15 minute drive away from the villa. The villa is part of a compound with two other villas, but all enjoy their entire privacy.

Great Place
A beautiful place in a quite village with marvelous view of the Kalkan bay area. There is all you need and the village provides you with local products If you want to care for yourself or with restaurants to enjoy fresh fish or other traditionell dishes. Only caveat, you need to leave eventually 😁

Family trip to southern Türkiye
This was a really nice holiday villa. There was a breakdown in communications at some stage as we stressed that we were bringing our dog when we made the booking. This wasn’t passed onto the management company. As a result we did not have cleaners come to do the mid-stay clean - cleaners were scared of dogs. Some of the fittings were tired (taps, shower, front door) but other than that this was a beautiful and peaceful location. From a safety perspective, some electrical fittings were not secured (internal and external) in addition, there is no gas monitor. The villa is perfect for a family of 4, our youngest is 5. If your children are younger it will require close monitoring as there are a few child traps!

Hidden Gem
A delightful villa with exceptional views. Everything was catered for and it was clear from the beginning the owners considered almost everything a person staying in a villa would need. The villa was clean, very well maintained and most importantly provided privacy. It would be unjust to give this villa anything less than 5*. We would personally suggest having your own vehicle, so that you are able to venture out and discover all the wonders the region has to offer in terms of restaurants, beaches, markets and much more .

Fabulous place to stay.
We arrived at this attractive villa and were immediately drawn to the seaview from the beautiful terrace with the kidney shaped pool. The villa is nice and private but not isolated. It is very well equipped, clean, comfortable place to stay, and the beds! So comfortable. It is a very relaxing there, in the company of wagtails, lizards, dragonflies and cicadas. We were very sad to leave even though we were moving on for week near Dalyan. Heleen's communication was excellent throughout the booking process and do follow her directions rather than Google. We found a car extremely useful but did notice a bus stop nearby and lots of taxis around the area so that may work for you. It is well worth a day trip to Kas, or even Dalyan if you don't mind a 2 hour drive each way and we stop at Gocek on our way to and from Dalaman airport. We highly recommend staying at this wonderful villa!
