Big fun family style farmhouse
In May our family and friends gathered in this Tuscan village home for 2 weeks of sightseeing and relaxation. Though the sun did not shine too much, we were able to enjoy the pool within the private and gated yard, listen to the constant birdsong, walk around the lovely village, and explore the surrounding areas. There is plenty of room within this property (the top floor of the building is where you stay) for a large group, loved the huge family style kitchen table where were all able to gather for meals, drink wine, and share our adventures of the day. This home is a 400 year old "olivery", and it provides all the amenities needed to enjoy a rustic Tuscan vacation. Tomasso is a friendly and responsive host who is happy to provide any assistance and information when needed.
The location of this property allows you to drive to Florence within an hour and a half, the seaside, Lucca, and Pisa in about a half an hour, and an hour and a half drive to Cinque Terra. The wine regions of Bulgheri and Montepulciano are not to be missed. The time we spent enjoying the hilltop town of Montepulciano was the highlight of our trip. Thanks Tomasso!
