Villa Belle Vue is situated in a quiet area of the village, with a light and airy open plan double aspect lounge diner with french doors to the garden. Views of fields and Les Alberes hills can be enjoyed from the south facing peaceful garden as you enjoy al fresco dining. Ideally located between mountains and only 15 mins drive to the mediterranean coast, it's a great base to explore this Catalan historical area and enjoy the region's varied culture and cuisine. Visit the many historical medieval hilltop towns, cathar castles, vineyards, beach resorts, harbour towns, traditional villages, nearby mountains, forests, caves and canyons. Sightseeing all within easy reach of the village for enjoyable day trips. Plenty of family activities such as horse riding, go karting, Aqualand water park, high wire forest adventure park, canyoning, farms, safari park, nature reserve etc. Spring and Autumn are perfect seasons for sightseeing and exploring.

Always a pleasure to come back
It has been the 6th year and we had a very nice stay. The house is easy to open, easy to maintain and easy to clean up at the end.

La Villa est très bien située. Proche de la mer (Argelès et Saint Cyprien),des commerces et de l'Espagne. La vue sur la chaîne des Albères est superbe. Le lieu est calme et reposant. La Villa est bien équipée et la superficie est appréciable pour 4. Il manquerait cependant un peu de vaisselle, cela permettrait de faire tourner le lave-vaisselle moins souvent. Un frigidaire un peu plus grand serait le bienvenu..A la réservation une communication plus en français serait sympa. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et y reviendrons très vite.

Nice place to explore Roussilion
A well kept house with a lot of space in a very silent environment and with a nice view on the Pyrenées from the Terrace. Free access to beach equipment and bicycles in the garage was much appreciated. Nothing missed in the well-equipped kitchen. A lot of tourist information was held available and very useful. A small problem in the bathroom was fixed on the same day. What we were missing was a market and an attractive place for a drink or snack in the city of St. Génis. Of course not a problem of the house, but caused us commuting a lot with the car.

Wir suchten eine ruhige Lage und hatten sie gefunden! Die große Terrasse mit Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschutz bot einen schönen Blick auf den Neulós an der spanischen Grenze. Andrea und Jo waren hilfreich, wenn es Fragen gab. Etwas Kritisches möchten wir aber nicht zurückhalten: Das Besteck sollte wirklich erneuert werden (Gabel, Löffel, Messer).

I love to be at the beach and walking at the coast. Staying at Belle Vue means I can enjoy Mediterranean holidays in a comfortable 'home from home' and I feel relaxed as soon as I arrive.

Why they chose this property

I have visited 'Les Alberes' area many times as I have family living there and yet I'm still exploring the area and discovering new places each time I visit. Belle Vue is in a quiet traditional village surrounded by vineyards and the mountains which is great because it's peaceful and relaxing and yet close to the beaches and amenities of the Mediterranean coast. You can easily enjoy the mountain villages, historic medieval cities and countryside away from the crowds and yet you are close to the coast when you want to be at the beach.

What makes this property unique

I love the laid back life style of of the mediterranean - sea swimming, late lunches, eating at one of the many restuarants in the balmy evenings and browsing the shops open till late. And the contrast to head inland often on my bike, or hiking to enjoy the countryside and vineyards invariably in search of a patisserie or cafe to enjoy a cafe au lait! It's only 30 mins drive from Perpignan airport or 1hr drive from Girona (Spain) so it's very convenient.
