Beyond expectations
Slate barn is a beautiful home set in the Cotswolds with sizable secluded grounds including its very own lake. We were a group of 8 representing 3 generations from our family under one roof. There was plenty of space to congregate or sit quietly and at no time did anyone feel like they were tripping over each other. We all had a terrific time. It's perfectly located and we enjoyed daily trips to the local areas. Returning to Slade barn in the evenings for a lovely home cooked meal made in the spacious and well provisioned kitchen and eaten together in the dining room was such a treat. We found ourselves gathering as a family around the fire in the living room to play charades or just enjoy a good conversation, or sitting individually to read. Debbie is a super host. She was responsive and super helpful before, during and after our stay. We'll treasure our time at Slade barn for the rest of our lives having made some wonderful memories. Thank you Debbie.

Most amazing home!
I stayed at this property for a family gathering of 10. The house is absolutely stunning, from the outside surroundings to the inside decor. A very nicely laid out house with lots of communal spaces. All the bedrooms were good sized and positioned in different areas of the upper floor, giving more privacy for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped, everything you would ever need. In a great location to visit all areas of the Cotswolds. We had such an amazing time and was sad to leave.

Lovely place to stay
The house is lovely, and huge! We had 9 people and 3 generations staying there and everyone enjoyed their stay. The hot tub in the garden was a big hit with the kids and it's well situated for visiting various sites around the Cotswolds by car. It has the feel of a comfortable family home, but be aware that there are lots of ornaments etc around the house and we had to give the kids strict instructions not to touch / break them! We had cause to contact the owner about something on our first day and she was great - she was very responsive and sorted everything for us quickly. We would happily visit here again.

A lovely stay in a beautiful property.
We have just returned from our New Year's break and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this cosy, welcoming property. Plenty to do and see in the surrounding area for both adults and children. Highly recommend.
