About this property

Queen Mary House: Very large holiday home with superb sea views

Built in the Art Deco era, this three-storey, end-of-terrace house (formerly two adjacent houses) offers bright rooms, sea views, and sleeping arrangements for up to 20 people – all in a fantastic clifftop position overlooking Sheringham beach.

The house has been arranged with large family gatherings in mind, and we’ve tried our best to cater for all your needs. On the ground floor there is a very large, open-plan living area with a well-stocked kitchen, ample comfortable seating, and a large dining table. There’s also a games room with table football and pool/snooker, and an enclosed, sea-facing patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.

In terms of location, you’d be hard-pressed to find somewhere better. The (dog-friendly) East Beach is only three minutes’ walk away, the North Norfolk Coastal Path begins almost on our doorstep, and Sheringham town centre (known for its old-fashioned seaside atmosphere and thriving independent shops) is just five minutes’ walk away.

You’ll find more information about our facilities below, but if there’s anything else you’d like to know, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Birthday celebration
The house was very large suitable in size for our family of 19. However the upstairs rooms were noisy and not suitable for our age ranges the teenagers couldn’t use the games room when the small ones were asleep. The main problem was the oven the door wouldn’t close so cooking the turkey was quite a challenge. The parking was a problem as we had 4 cars we were told there was plenty of parking in the nearby road, this was not the case it must be a nightmare in summer.

We were celebrating a birthday & there were 18 of us staying, the house was perfect with many thoughtful touches, the pictures on this site don’t really do it justice. Would not hesitate to visit again & would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you

About the host

We first went on holiday to Sheringham with our four children in 1994 and loved its unspoiled character. We bought a holiday home there in 2005 and the opportunity to purchase Queen Mary House followed in 2007. We were knocked out by the position looking directly out to sea - as are all of the visitors to Seacliff. We love visiting Sheringham and the nearby coastline with opportunities to mess about in boats and then come "home" to all the facilities in Sheringham and the friends that we have made locally.

We are always available to contact during your stay and have local help to cover most situations.

Why they chose this property

We loved the location, the friendly neighbours and the local facilities all within walking distance.
