Why they chose this property
We love Crete and in 2007 discovered Makrigialos which combines authentic Cretan village life with beautiful beaches and a variety of dining experiences.
We love the fact that we can transport ourselves to a really peaceful and genuine part of the Mediterranean and totally relax whilst having the benefits of a modern apartment as our holiday home.

What makes this property unique
Our apartment is relatively new (completed in May 2009), very comfortable with the highest quality fittings and equipment. We like to eat on the balcony while enjoying stunning views of the mountains and bay.
Makrigialos has a good selection of shops and beachside restaurants offering plenty of interest and variety for our holidays.
Crete's south east area is relatively quiet and a perfect location for walking or relaxing on any of the beautiful local sandy beaches.
